There is no happiness

Hare Krishna, my intention and attitude in sending you this message, is that Srila Prabhupada wanted us to transmit his teachings to everyone, without wanting anything in return.
There is no happiness, by Haripada dasa
Usually people think that happiness is in a life full of sense gratification and material comforts, and that I live by the bun and dead to the pit, people who are attached to ignorance do not understand more than this, here I share the Bhagavatam, 5, 24, 8, there Srila Prabhupada says that according to the teachings of Prahlāda Mahārāja, material enjoyment is māyā-sukha, an illusory enjoyment. The Vaiṣṇava or devotee of God or Krishna goes through great anxieties to liberate all living entities from this false enjoyment. Prahlāda Mahārāja says: māyā-sukhāya bharam udvahato vimūḍhān: Those fools (vimūḍhas) give themselves over to material happiness, which is undoubtedly temporary. Whether they belong to the heavenly planets or inhabit the lower or terrestrial planets, people are absorbed in material happiness, which is temporary, and they forget that when the time comes, they will have to change their bodies according to the laws of matter, and they will have to suffer again and again birth, death, old age and diseases. The most attached materialists, without worrying about what will happen to them in their next life, are simply occupied in enjoying the brief period of their current life. The Vaiṣṇava is always willing to give these confused materialists true happiness, spiritual bliss.
And in the same chapter verse 14, Srila Prabhupada says that this is the defect of material existence. In the subterranean heavens everything is very pleasant; the housing conditions are optimal, the atmosphere is pleasant, and there are no physical discomforts or mental anxieties; even so, the inhabitants of those places will have to be reborn, according to their karma. Obtuse-minded people can not understand this defect of materialistic civilization that aspires to material comforts. You can achieve very pleasant living conditions for the senses, but, favorable as those conditions are, when the time comes you have to face death. Members of demonic civilizations strive to achieve a high level of comfort in life; but they can not stop death. The influence of the Sudarśana cakra will not allow its supposed material happiness to last for a long time.

Selfishness

Selfishness, by Haripada dasa
Hare Krishna, my intention and attitude in sending you this message, is that Srila Prabhupada wanted us to transmit his teachings to everyone, without wanting anything in return.
I share with you that a few days ago an old lady told me that she had two apartments, money, etc., but she came to the conclusion that the most difficult thing in life is to free oneself from selfishness, I told her that the difference between a devotee of God or Krishna and ordinary people is that the devotee of God or Krishna is always thinking of doing good to others without wanting anything in return and ordinary people always think in terms of me and mine, and never think about doing the well to others, when the ordinary person becomes a devotee of God or Krishna then selfishness disappears, I share that in Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, Chapter Twenty-two, verse 39, where Sanat-kumāra says:
"My dear King, the false ego of the human being is so strong that it keeps him in material existence as if he were bound by a very strong rope, only the devotees can cut the knot of that rope very easily, by engaging in the process of Kṛṣṇa consciousness Others, who are not in Kṛṣṇa consciousness consciousness but try to become great mystics or great practitioners of ritual ceremonies, can not advance like devotees. the activities of the Kṛṣṇa consciousness process, to get rid of the tight knot of the false ego and the execution of material activities. "
The only activity in this material world that purifies you and does not entangle you is to serve God or Krishna and His devotees, Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura always said that the rebellious soul is hostile to serve God or Krishna and His devotees, we are by nature servants , Srila Prabhupada always said that if you do not serve God, you will have to serve your dog. Srila Prabhupada always said that people can not understand or accept the simplest truths of life because they are full of sinful activities, it is said in the Spiritual Scriptures of India that people are so sinful in this age that they will not see again the human form of life in millions and millions of births. People do not understand how valuable this human form of life is, the purpose of life is to understand and love God or Krishna, and as there is only God or Krishna and His energies will naturally love you all and all.

24 hours a day

Hare Krishna, my intention and attitude in sending you this message, is that Srila Prabhupada wanted us to transmit his teachings to everyone, without wanting anything in return.
24 hours a day, by Haripada dasa
Here I share the purpose for which Srila Prabhupada founded Krishna consciousness. This comes in Srimad Bhagavatam, 5, 12, 13: "This movement for Kṛṣṇa consciousness has been founded to occupy people in the service and glorification of the Lord twenty-four hours a day. In this institution, students devote themselves to the cultivation of Kṛṣṇa consciousness from five in the morning until ten at night. Thus they have no opportunity to waste time unnecessarily speaking about politics, sociology and current affairs. All this follows its own course. A devotee is only interested in serving Kṛṣṇa in a serious and positive way. "
I share that I have not watched television for a long time, I have come to the conclusion that on television there is only ignorance and passion, and it only attracts people who are ignorant and passion, ignorance because everything is a corporal concept, and passion because everything is sex and violence, there is nothing of kindness, if there was kindness no one would watch television, very few people in the world live in the mode of goodness, in Bhagavad Gita, 14, 6 says that the modality of goodness, being purer than the others, it is enlightening, and it liberates one from all sinful reactions. Those who are influenced by this modality are conditioned by a feeling of happiness and knowledge, then in the same chapter verse 21 it is said: Arjuna asked: Oh, dear Lord, what are the signs by which we know to one who is transcendental to these three modalities? How it behaves? And in what way does he transcend the modes of nature? And in verses 22-26 Krishna replies: The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: O son of Pāṇḍu, he who does not hate enlightenment, attachment or the illusion when they are present, nor the longing when they disappear; that it remains firm and imperturbable through all these reactions of material qualities, and that it remains neutral and transcendental, knowing that only modalities are active; which is situated in the being and which considers that happiness and affliction are equal; that looks with the same vision a bit of earth, a stone and a piece of gold; that has the same disposition towards the desirable and the undesirable; which is constant, being equally well in praise and in censure, in honor and in dishonor; that treats equal to the friend and the enemy; and that he has renounced all material activities: a person who is like that, is said to have transcended the modes of nature, one who devotes himself entirely to devotional service, firm in all circumstances, immediately transcends the modalities of material nature and thus reaches the plane of Brahman.

Here I share some very interesting spiritual experiences of Jayananda Prabhu. Jayananda Thakur made his own notes on the cover of his book of Krishna in the form of a list of points:
"When I began to apply the clearly described principles of the book of Krishna in my life, I quickly experienced a new realm of mental balance and experienced inner happiness even in the midst of the most difficult circumstances. The result of practicing Krishna consciousness is that you will worry less and enjoy more. Your power of concentration, memory, understanding and creativity will increase. You will work with more energy, with greater confidence and efficiency, and "When I began to apply the clearly described principles of the book of Krishna in my life, you will relate better to people. We are all devotees

We are all devotees, by Haripada dasa
Hare Krishna, my intention and attitude in sending you this message, is that Srila Prabhupada wanted us to transmit his teachings to everyone, without wanting anything in return.
Srila Prabhupada said in 1972 in Kartika in Vrindavana that we should always be ready to offer respect to everyone, because every living entity is originally a devotee of God or Krishna, but circumstantially the soul, being covered by ignorance, is acting as a demon, in this world there are divine and demonic people, the divine ones obey the laws of God or Krishna and the demonic ones do not, but the original nature of all is to be a devotee of God or Krishna. The first thing to do in the devotional life is to purify the designations, the designations means the things that we are not but that we think we are, for example the people in general think that I am the body, and therefore I am Spanish, American , Hindu, etc., I am the master of everything, my house and my family belong to me, I am the enjoyer, the controller of everything, this woman is my wife, here is my son, here my brother, etc., everything these are designations, the result of living with designations is that the person lives full of fears, envy, ignorance and very conditioned, a soul free of designations believes and experiences that I am not the body, but an eternal spiritual soul, loving servant of God or Krishna and His devotees, my relatives are also children of God or Krishna, my house and everything I own is of God or Krishna and I use everything for the service of God or Krishna, the result of having that consciousness of God or Krishna, is that the person lives happy and free.
In devotional life there are three classes of devotees of God or Krishna, the neophyte, the one in the middle stage and the perfect devotee. First you have to understand what faith is, faith means having complete conviction that by chanting the Hare Krishna Maha-Mantra, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare / Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare (the H read as J de jota) will automatically fulfill all the duties and complete all pious activities. The neophyte devotee exhibits a faith that is formal, even mundane, worships the Deity but has not developed an interest in serving the representative of God or Krishna, the authorized spiritual master, the devotee in the middle stage develops loving affection for God or Krishna , makes friends with other devotees, has compassion for innocent people, an innocent person is one who believes in God or Krishna, but is not advanced in spiritual life, and evades the company of atheists, and the perfect devotee is one who sees God or Krishna everywhere, and God or Krishna is his life and soul, his life revolves around the Hare Krishna Maha-Mantra, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare / Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare (the H is read as J de jota), for him, the Holy Name of God or Krishna is the essence of everything.
Thought to meditate:
"People who think that ignorance is true, being a wise person, are fools."

Despise others

Despise others, by Haripada dasa
I have come to the conclusion that people have a tendency to belittle others, that they do so to feel superior and also out of envy, to illustrate this point Srila Prabhupada told this story: "Once two childhood friends met, one told the other that I am a lawyer and I just did a trial and to my surprise the judge was our childhood friend, Juan Perez, and the other said how weird this is because he always seemed half dumb, and the other said he is judge but maybe they will not pay him. "
Among the devotees of God or Krishna that does not happen, because there is love and trust, I share what Srila Prabhupada said in the Kartika of the year 1972 in the Sri Radha Damodhara, there he explains the mentality of a devotee: "Narada Muni says that the devotee always appreciates the qualities of other devotees, yes, that is the sign, appreciation of the activities of devotees, a devotee who is currently freed from all contaminations does not find any fault in other devotees, he does not think of himself as if was a great devotee, or more great than others, he thinks of himself as the lowest of all, as the author of El Chaitanya Charitamrita, Krishna dasa Kaviraj says that I am as low as the insect that lives in the excrement, I I am more sinful than Jagai and Madhai, anyone who takes my name, immediately all the results of their pious activities vanish, it is not imitation, any devotee who is currently advanced, he feels it, as well as the great scientist Sir Isaac Newton used to say that I have simply picked up a few grains of sand from the ocean of knowledge, in truth that is a fact, everything is unlimited, so no one should be proud that he has become a great devotee, all should be very humble, trinad api sunicena, taror api sahisnuna, manamane amanena, kirtaniya sada hari, if one thinks that one has become a very advanced devotee, that is very dangerous, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu said that my spiritual master saw me as a great fool, therefore he has punished me, do not read the Vedanta Sutra, sing Hare Krishna, He presented himself that way, it is Chaitanya Mahaprabhu murka, fool, that concept has an advanced devotee, never thinks it is a very advanced devotee, what is to be advanced, the devotion that we can offer Krishna, He is unlimited, He kindly accepts our service, that is all, do not be proud to become a great devotee, that will be a first class fall. "

Nonviolence and morality

Hare Krishna, my intention and attitude in sending you this message, is that Srila Prabhupada wanted us to transmit his teachings to everyone, without wanting anything in return.
Nonviolence and morality, by Haripada dasa
Srila Prabhupada taught us that before one is a devotee of God or Krishna has to practice nonviolence, about non-violence Srila Prabhupada says that non-violence is generally understood not to kill or destroy the body, but, in reality, it is not Violence means not causing others anguish. Out of ignorance, the generality of people is trapped in the material concept of life, and perpetually suffers material pains. So, unless one elevates people to the plane of spiritual knowledge, one is practicing violence. One must try as best he can to distribute true knowledge, so that people become enlightened and abandon this material entanglement. That is nonviolence. Nonviolence means that one should not do anything that puts others in a situation of suffering or confusion. The material activities promised by many politicians, sociologists, philanthropists, etc., do not produce very good results, since politicians and philanthropists do not have a transcendental vision; they do not know what is truly beneficial for human society. Non-violence means that people must be trained in such a way that the full use of the human body can be achieved. The human body is for spiritual enlightenment, so any movement or any commission that does not encourage that end commits an act of violence against the human body. That which fosters the future spiritual happiness of the generality of the people, is called nonviolence. Nonviolence means not preventing the progressive life of any living entity. One should not think that, as the spiritual spark is never killed, not even after the body is killed, there is nothing wrong with killing animals for the enjoyment of the senses. Now people are addicted to eating animals, despite having a large supply of grains, fruits and milk. There is no need to kill the animals. This commandment is for everyone. When there is no other resource, an animal can be killed, but it must be offered as a sacrifice. In any case, when there is an ample supply of food for humanity, people who wish to progress in the field of spiritual understanding should not perpetrate acts of violence against animals. True nonviolence means not impeding the progressive life of anyone. Animals are also progressing in their evolutionary life, transmigrating from one category of animal life to another. If a certain animal is killed, then its progress is hindered. If an animal has to stay in a certain body for a certain number of days or years and is killed prematurely, it must then return again in that way of life to complete the remaining days, in order to be promoted to another species of lifetime. So, your progress should not be hindered just so that one satisfies your palate. That is called nonviolence.
And on morality Srila Prabhupada said that the ultimate morality is surrendering to God or Krishna and loving Him through His representative Srila Prabhupada.

The ego

Hare Krishna, my intention and attitude in sending you this message, is that Srila Prabhupada wanted us to transmit his teachings to everyone, without wanting anything in return.
The ego, by Haripada dasa
The ego means identity or personality, when a person identifies with his material and temporal body, that is called identifying with the false ego, and when a person identifies with the eternal spiritual soul, that is called true ego, that is why Sri Gauranga Mahaprabhu always said that I am not a priest, an administrator, a merchant, a worker, or a celibate monk, nor a family man, nor a retired nor a renunciant, I am an eternal spiritual soul, loving and eternal servant of God or Krishna and His devotees. Currently 99 percent of people identify with the body, and only one percent are trying to get out of the body concept and identify with the spiritual concept, today no educational institution is teaching spiritual education, Srila Prabhupada called the spiritual education extra education, and when innocent people become frustrated with material life and go looking for spiritual life, they take refuge in many deceptive people, there is a lot of impersonalism.
I share these 4 messages that I have sent to you on Twitter to Pedro the President of Spain and the Minister of Education, to the President of the USA, Portugal, France, Italy, etc. 1- Hi Peter, the causes of all suffering is ignorance and karmic reactions to sinful activities, if a person lives full of spiritual knowledge and is pure, then enjoy unlimited happiness, what do you think of this? 2- Hi Pedro, the five types of ignorance are: 1- Believing that the body is the self, 2- Making material sense gratification the model of happiness, 3- Being in anxiety due to identification with matter, 4- Lamenting and 5- Not believing in God.3- Hi Pedro, I share with you that sinful activities are, 1-, illicit sex life, 2-gambling, 3- drinking tea, coffee, alcohol, drugs, etc., 4- and the consumption of meats, fish and eggs, what do you think of this? And 4- Hi Pedro, all this spiritual knowledge is called extra education, why educational institutions do not impart this spiritual knowledge? Do the rulers want people to live in ignorance? What do you think about this?
Srila Prabhupada called the politicians infernal rulers, and he always said that those who fear these infernal rulers should take refuge in the process of Krishna consciousness.

My three friends

Hare Krishna, my intention and attitude in sending you this message, is that Srila Prabhupada wanted us to transmit his teachings to everyone, without wanting anything in return.
My three friends, by Haripada dasa
Srila Prabhupada's Gurudeva named Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Prabhupada always said that in this world of maya, which is contrary to God or Krishna, full of trials and tribulations, only patience, humility and respect for others are our friends to glorify to God or Krishna and His devotees. On patience Srila Prabhupada says in verse 3 of the nectar of instruction that one must carry out the activities of Krishna consciousness with patience. One should not be impatient in following the process of Krishna consciousness. This movement of Krishna consciousness, in effect, was started without any help, and at first there was no welcome, but because we continued to execute our devotional activities with patience, people gradually began to understand the importance of this movement, and now is participating with vehemence. One should not be impatient when performing devotional service, but receive instructions from the lips of the spiritual master and execute them with patience, and depend on the mercy of the guru and Krishna. On humility Srila Prabhupada says in The Bhagavad-gita, chapter 13, 8-12, that humility means that one should not be anxious to have the satisfaction of being honored by others. The material concept of life makes one very eager to receive honor from others, but from the point of view of a man who has perfect knowledge-someone who knows that this body is not-, anything, honor or Dishonor, belonging to this body, is useless. One should not be longing for that material illusion. People are very anxious to be famous for their religion, and, consequently, it is sometimes observed that, without understanding the principles of religion, one enters a group that is in fact not following religious principles, and then wants to advertise to himself as a religious mentor. As far as true advancement in spiritual science is concerned, one must have an examination to see how much is progressing. You can judge by these factors.
And on respect for others, Srila Prabhupada says in the prologue to the teachings of Lord Chaitanya, that He declared that partisan feelings and sectarianism were the two great enemies of spiritual progress, and it is also said in verse 9 of the chapter 6 of the Bhagavad Gita that a person is even more advanced when he considers everyone - the honest well-wisher, friends and enemies, the envious, the pious, the sinner and those who are indifferent and impartial - with a fair mind. Srila Prabhupada taught us to love our enemies.

Sri Ganga Stotram

Sri Ganga Stotram: Prayer to Mother Ganga, By Adi Sankaracharya
1) Oh, Goddess Ganga! You are the divine river of heaven. You are the one who saves us from the three worlds. You are pure and restless. You adorn the head of Lord Shiva. Oh, Mother! may my mind always rest on your lotus feet.
2) Mother Bhagirathi! You give happiness to everyone. The meaning of your sacred waters is praised in the Vedas. I am ignorant and I am not able to understand its importance. Oh, Devi, you are full of mercy. Please protect me.
3) Oh, Devi! Your waters are as sacred as charanamrita of Sri Hari. Your waves are white as snow, moon and pearls. Please, wash away all my sins and help me cross the ocean of samsara.
4) O Mother, those who participate in your pure waters, reach without doubt the highest state. Oh, Mother Ganga! Yama, the Lord of death can not harm your devotees.
5) Oh, Jahnavi! Your waters that flow through the Himalayas make them even more beautiful. You are the mother of Bhishma and the daughter of the wise Jahnu. You are the savior of the one who falls from his path, and that is why you are venerated in the three worlds.
6) Oh, Mother! You fulfill all the wishes of your devotees. Those who bow to you do not have to suffer. Oh, Ganga! You are uneasy about merging with the ocean, like a young man anxious to meet his beloved.
7) Oh, Mother! Those who bathe in your waters do not have to be born again. Oh, Jahnavi! You are in the highest esteem. You destroy the sins of your devotees and save them from hell.
8) Oh, Jahnavi! You are full of compassion. You purify your devotees with your blessed waters. Your feet are adorned with the jewels of Indra's crown. Those who seek refuge in you obtain the blessing of happiness.
9) O Bhagavati! Remove my illnesses, sorrows, difficulties, sins and bad attitudes. You are the essence of the three worlds and you are like a necklace around the Earth. Or Devi! You are the only refuge of mine in Samsara.
10) Oh, Ganga! Those who seek happiness adore you. You are the source of happiness for Alakapuri and the source of eternal bliss. Those who reside on its banks are as privileged as those who live in Vaikuntha.
11) Oh, Devi! It is better to live in your waters, like turtles or fish, or on your banks like a poor chandala, than to live away from you like a rich king.
12) Oh, Goddess of the Universe! Purify us! Oh, daughter of Jahnu muni! Whoever recites this Ganga Stotram every day, certainly succeeds.
13) People who have devotion to Mother Ganga, always achieve happiness and achieve liberation. This beautiful and lyrical Gangastuti is a source of supreme happiness.
14) This prayer, Sri Ganga Stotram, written by Sri Adi Shankaracharya, a devotee of Lord Siva, purifies us and fulfills all our wishes

THE FAITH

Hare Krishna, my intention and attitude in sending you this message, is that Srila Prabhupada wanted us to transmit his teachings to everyone, without wanting anything in return.
THE FAITH, by Haripada dasa
We all understand and accept that the constitutional nature of all living entities is that we are eternal seekers of pleasure. Faith means the confidence or conviction that by performing certain activities, I will be happy, or I will get pleasure. Faith also means having complete conviction that by chanting the Holy Name of God or Krishna will automatically fulfill all spiritual duties and complete all pious activities. Those who do not have that faith are inept to chant the Holy Name. The question that Arjuna asks of Krishna in the Bhagavad-gita is very interesting. Arjuna asks: "Oh Krishna! What is the situation of those who do not follow the principles of the scriptures, but who worship according to what their own imagination dictates? Are they in the plane of goodness, passion or ignorance? "Krishna responds very philosophically:" According to the modes of material nature that the incarnated soul has acquired, his faith can be of three kinds: in the plane of the mode of goodness, in the plane of passion or in the plane of ignorance. "Then, Lord Krishna, for our good and so that we can discern in the activities, explains the characteristics of the food, the sacrifices, austerities and charity, according to the three modes of material nature.
In Europe and North America, there are some people who are called deprogrammers, they are people who work for hire and their mission is to destroy the religious faith of people who believe in God. I have a great friend in Spain, that his father paid a lot of money to these deprogrammers, to kidnap his son and deprogram him. They took him to a cabin in the Swiss Alps and tried to destroy his religious faith, but they were not successful, my friend escaped! Three years ago I was in South India at a religious festival. The festival lasted twenty days; every day they took the sacred deities in procession in a palanquin, all very beautiful, with lots of color, music, etc., thousands and thousands of pilgrims came every day to the festival. On the last day of the festival, which was the main day, three million people entered the temple. I thought it was funny that the deprogrammers came here, to destroy the religious faith of these people. They would make a fool of themselves; wanting to remove the religious faith of these people is like wanting to take away the sweetness of sugar, the liquidity of water, or the light and heat of the fire, is this possible? No. There is a story in India that faith is based on experience, very interesting and instructive: "the great sage Narada Muni was going to see God or Narayana in the spiritual world. On the way there was a ritualist priest who said: please when you meet God or Narayana, ask how many lives I have left to be here in the material world. Then he met a humble shoemaker who asked him the same thing. Narada Muni asked God or Narayana: how many lives does the priest have left and how many times does the shoemaker have to be in the material world? Narayana, God replied: the priest has many lives left, but the shoemaker, this is his last life in the material world. Narada Muni was very surprised and asked: And how is this, that the priest has many lives and the shoemaker only one? Lord Narayana replied: You will understand when you are asked: what was God or Narayana doing in the spiritual world? You will answer: an elephant was passing through the hole of a needle. When Narada Muni returned to earth and met the ritualistic priest, he asked him: how many lives has God or Narayana told you that I have left in this material world? Narada replied: he told me you have many lives left. Upon hearing this the priest became angry and began to break the pots of sacrifice, the offerings, the altar, etc. When he calmed down a little, he asked Narada Muni: and what was Narayana or God doing when you saw him? Narada replied: an elephant was passing through the hole of a needle. The priest replied: But, what nonsense is this! How is it possible for an elephant to go through the hole of a needle? That is not possible. Then, Narada went to see the humble shoemaker. The shoemaker asked him: what has my Lord Narayana or God told you about how many lives do I have left here? Narada replied: He said that this is your last life here, and that you are going to return with Him. Upon hearing this, the shoemaker he was excited. Tears fell from his eyes, his hair stood on end and he had tremors all over his body; between sobs he asked Narada: and what was my Lord Narayana or God doing when you visited him? Narada replied: An elephant was passing through the hole of a needle. Upon hearing this, the shoemaker increased his spiritual ecstasy. Narada was surprised to see all this and asked the cobbler: and do you really believe that God or Lord Narayana can pass an elephant through the hole of a needle? The shoemaker answered: I live here in this banyan tree (the banyan tree is a giant tree, so giant that nobody knows where it begins or where it ends), and my Lord Narayana or God, has put in a small seed this gigantic tree, why? What should I not believe that He can pass an elephant through the hole of a needle? Narada Muni thought: this is faith based on experience.

Nonviolence and morality

Nonviolence and morality, by Haripada dasa
I share that a month ago Facebook took my account, Vanesa, Partha, Miguel Angel, Jordi and Javier were friends on Facebook, you can see if my account is there, it was a picture of Srila Prabhupada, and put Srila Prabhupada jagat guru or jagat guru Srila Prabhupada, I had more than 200 friends, and I put my spiritual messages in 20 groups, and people like it a lot, now I have tried to make another account, I have tried it 5 times and it is impossible, after doing the account it turns out that I have to put my phone, I put it and it says it is not valid, and so they do not let me enter the account, if someone wants to comment on all this ...,
One tries to preach Krishna consciousness, what a great reason Srila Prabhupada had when he said that preaching Krishna consciousness is very difficult, one has to always go with the truth ahead, and people who have a lot of false ego feel insulted, Srila Prabhupada taught us that before becoming a devotee of Krishna he has to practice nonviolence and morality, about non-violence Srila Prabhupada says in the Bhagavad-gita, 13, 8-12 that non-violence is generally understood not to kill or destroy the body, but, in reality, nonviolence means not causing anguish to others. Srila Prabhupada always said that if someone leaves the movement and eats meat, that is proof that he did not understand anything, and he also said that if the Christians obeyed Jesus' command not to kill and worship the Deities, they would become devotees. A person practices morality when he lives with Krishna by chanting His holy names The Hare Krishna Maha-Mantra, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare / Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare (the H is read as J de jota ), and live a pure life free of sins.

SIMPLE LIFE AND HIGH THOUGHT

SIMPLE LIFE AND HIGH THOUGHT
Simple life and high thinking, by Javier Figuerola (Haripada Dasa)
By the mercy of Srila Prabhupada we understand and accept that by leading a simple life with elevated thoughts we are happy in this material world and are preparing to go back home to God.
Simple life means that we need a little clothing, a little prasada (prasada is God's mercy, food offered to God), and a place to rest. High thought means thinking of the representative of God or Krishna Srila Prabhupada, in all the acharyas or spiritual masters of the guru-parampara, in the Pañca Tattva and in Sri Radha Krishna, it also means thinking of doing good to others, sending positive messages for people to reflect and try to raise their states of consciousness, it also means giving prasada to others, in the Food for Life program of Vrindavana in India and in other parts of the world, millions and millions of prasada dishes have been given . That is pure spiritual life. Material life is the opposite, it means to live to satisfy the body and the mind, and is based on selfishness and mine and not giving any food to the soul, never thinking about God or doing good to others, rather always think how to deceive others and the law of the funnel, how wide for me and how narrow for others.
Now in the whole world we are celebrating the advent of the Saktyavesa Avatara Jesus Christ, it would be good if we remembered the essence of his teachings: "Love God above all things and your neighbor as yourself, do not do to others what you would not like that they did to you, and do to others what you would like them to do to you, if you have two blankets and you see that another does not have any, give him a blanket and share what you have with the others, that way you will get rid of envy and selfishness, he also spoke of the fact that there is a Kingdom of God and that the goal of life is to return to the Kingdom of God. " Regarding Christians, Srila Prabhupada said that if Christians worship the Deities and obey the commandment of Jesus Christ not to kill, they would become devotees of God or Krishna.
Sing the Maha-mantra: Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare / Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare and be happy.
Serve Srila Prabhupada with love, faith, attachment and gratitude and your life will be successful and sublime.

Introduction to Srila Prabhupada

Introduction to Srila Prabhupada
In 1922 in Calcutta, India, Srila Prabhupada's spiritual master named Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Prabhupada told him that you are a very educated person and you know English very well, it would be good if you went to Western countries to preach the conscience of God or Krishna, and then in the year 1935 he told him that if you have money he prints spiritual books. To fulfill the orders given him by his Gurudeva, Srila Prabhupada left India on a ship in 1965 when he was 69 years old. The dynamic presentation of Srila Prabhupada of the Consciousness of God or Krishna, as a positive alternative to a society devoid of spiritual values, especially attracted intelligent young Westerners. Many of these intellectuals sought the true meaning of life, being sick of hedonistic materialism, nihilistic atheism and of hypocritical and sentimental religions. Srila Prabhupada began chanting the Maha-mantra: Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare / Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare in a New York park and there he began his movement, many young people approached to him to receive spiritual training. Many people abandoned illicit sexual life, gambling, drugs and the consumption of meat, fish and eggs and sang every day 27,648 names of God in their rosaries. These people felt so much spiritual happiness that in a natural way they wanted to help Srila Prabhupada to spread his movement so that everyone would be happy. Srila Prabhupada initiated 10,000 disciples around the world, went around the world 14 times, wrote 80 books of 400 pages each, answered more than 7,000 letters and dictated thousands and thousands of lectures, opened more than one hundred temples throughout the world and many farming communities and in 1972 founded the program of Food for live or food for life, and ordered that in 15 kilometers around their temples no one should go hungry, have distributed millions and millions of dishes of prasada, or food offered to God or Krishna. He slept every day 3 hours from 10 in the night until 1 in the morning, there he got up to translate the great classics of India such as Srimad Bhagavatam and Sri Chaitanya Charitamrita, his disciples and admirers have distributed more than 500 million his books in all the languages of the world. Srila Prabhupada is Acharya that means he who preaches with his personal example. Unhappily a few days before disembodied he said that he was being poisoned, and after discarding his disciples led by his personal interests they changed his instructions, Srila Prabhupada ordered his disciples to initiate in his name, and his disciples disobeyed that order and in an artificial way they became gurus, without the authorization of Srila Prabhupada, these people received much mercy from Srila Prabhupada and still betrayed him. Many people like me and others who were in their movement, we left to not be accomplices of all the offenses that they are doing to Srila Prabhupada, the result of offending Srila Prabhupada is that people become atheists and live in unconsciousness, there is nothing new under the Sun and history repeats itself over and over again, the person authorized by God or Krishna comes and establishes the principles of religion, but when it goes away the disorder returns again. To people who have sacrificed their lives to please Srila Prabhupada, God or Krishna reveals to them who Srila Prabhupada really is. Those who think that the great Masters like Srila Prabhupada and others die, wrongly reason, live eternally in their instructions and those who obey them live with them.
Thought to meditate:
"There is no greater power in the universe than to pray to God or Krishna for others, it will always be better to pray for others to God or Krishna than to criticize."

Lead by example

Lead by example, by Haripada dasa
Western educators say: "Do not follow me; follow my words "; or, put another way: "Do not do what I do, but what I say." The life of Srila Prabhupada refutes this principle, since he applied in his own life all the instructions of his books and was a living example of them. There is not a single instruction in his books that he has not followed personally and, therefore, there is no disparity between his writings and his life; between his actions and his words. Srila Prabhupada taught us that a true spiritual master is one who preaches with his personal example, once Sanatana Goswami told Haridasa Thakura that you are the perfect devotee of God or Krishna, some preach but not practice and some practice but not Preach, but you practice everything you preach, I share a beautiful verse from The Bhagavad Gita, 3, 21, there it says that ordinary men follow in the footsteps of a great man, whatever action he performs. And whatever the patterns he establishes through exemplary acts, the whole world follows them, and in the meaning Srila Prabhupada says that the generality of the people always requires a leader who can teach him through his behavior in practice. A leader can not teach people to stop smoking, if he smokes himself.
Srila Prabhupada always said that what people like the most is that they cheat and suffer, and he also said that one of the great impediments to the expansion of Krishna consciousness is the large number of deceivers that there are, and how the people It is so lazy to make the spiritual awakening take advantage and tell the people you give me 30 euros and I will give you a mantra and in six months you will be God, and the people are so foolish that they believe it. That is why this society is deceiving and deceived. The words convince, but the example drags. In the Jaiva dharma it is said that if someone gives religious advice without practicing it himself, this becomes a source of evil for the world.
Two thoughts to meditate:
1- Give good advice to a wise person and he will thank you and give good advice to a foolish person and he will be angry.
2- If you have nectar in your heart you will never give poison and if you have poison in your heart you will never give nectar.

I like the spiritual life

I like the spiritual life, by Haripada dasa
Material life means sense gratification, selfishness, self and mine, and the law of the funnel, wide for me and narrow for others, spiritual life means to please the transcendental senses of God or Krishna, always think about doing the well to others without wanting anything in return and it is also the law of the funnel but vice versa, the spiritualist sacrifices the wide part for the sake of the narrow. I like to sing every day The Hare Krishna Maha-Mantra, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare / Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare, (the H is read as J of Jota) 16 rounds are at least 27,648 saints Names of God, this with practice is from an hour and a half to two hours. I like to offer incense to the Altar and the Deities, I like to offer the food to Srila Prabhupada, to Sri Gauranga Mahaprabhu and to Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, I like to share spiritual experiences on the Internet and on Facebook, I like that my life is not controlled by worldly and demonic people, I like to go to Vrindavana to India, to distribute prasada or spiritual food to the children of the schools, to bathe in the Radha Kunda, to make the pilgrimage to the sacred Govardana Hill, I like to study the books of Srila Prabhupada, that means associating with Srila Prabhupada, Bhaktivinoda Thakura always said that he wrongly reasons who says that the devotees of God or Krishna die, they are still living, in the sound, they die to live, and while they live they try to spread the Holy Name for the world. Many people asked you what will happen to your movement when you die, and Srila Prabhupada always said that I will never die, I will always live in my books and those who obey my spiritual instructions will always live with me, Srila Prabhupada wrote 80 books of 400 pages each , there is everything a person needs to practice genuine spiritual life. I like to see that so many people are being deprogrammed of the material life and are having great interest in knowing and loving God, I like to lead a pure and sinless life, that is why I have abandoned illicit sexual life, gambling, drugs and the consumption of meat, fish and eggs, Krishna consciousness is the practice of spiritual activities, the result of these practices is that we transfer from the material world to the spiritual world. I like to go to bed at 10 o'clock at night and get up at 5 o'clock in the morning, the one who gets up early helps God. I like to establish relationships with other devotees based on spiritual love and trust. I like to be a humble servant of Srila Prabhupada and of all mankind.
Thanks to God or Krishna and His representative my spiritual master Srila Prabhupada since 1984 I detached myself from society, love and worldly friendships, since then I have tried to establish a relationship with people based on spiritual love and trust, love spiritual means the full conviction that the success of life is to please God or Krishna and His devotees and confidence means that there will be no betrayal.

The schism

The schism, by Haripada dasa
Schism means that in a group of people there are two opinions, Srila Prabhupada founded the association for Krishna consciousness, (in abbreviation ISKCON), in 1966 in New York, the current leaders of Iskcon think that Srila Prabhupada left them as gurus and therefore there are now more than a hundred gurus with their disciples, other disciples of Srila Prabhupada believe that Srila Prabhupada ordered his disciples to be their representatives or ritviks and to initiate in his name, these people not to be accomplices of all the injustices and offenses that Iskcon is doing to Srila Prabhupada practice Krishna consciousness outside of Iskcon and obey Srila Prabhupada's instruction to initiate on his behalf, these devotees rely on quotes from Srila Prabhupada, for example, in a conversation of the April 22, 1977 Srila Prabhupada says that no one is qualified to be a guru, then in the conversation on May 28, 1977 several devotees were speaking. r Srila Prabhupada of what the initiations should be when he disincarnated, and Srila Prabhupada said that he would appoint some of his disciples to be his representatives, and Tamal Krishna asked him if that was ritvik and Srila Prabhupada said yes, then as a consequence natural Srila Prabhupada sent a special letter to his entire movement on 9 July 1977 appointing 11 ritviks, and in Srila Prabhupada's testament he said that all his properties should always be put in the name of his disciples.
It is very interesting what Srila Prabhupada says in El Chaitanya Charitamrita, adi-lila, 12, 8 there he says that his Gurudeva did not instruct any one in particular to be the next Spiritual Master, but, just after his death, his most relevant secretaries did Plans, without being authorized, to occupy the position of Spiritual Master, and were divided into two factions over who had to be the next Spiritual Master. Consequently, the two factions were useless, since, after disobeying the order of the spiritual master, they had no authority. It is also very interesting a room conversation, New York, July 1970 there Srila Prabhupad says that we will establish hundreds of temples, and all will be very opulent. But if we do not follow the instructions of the Spiritual Master, they will be only a sample. Do you know what Showbottle means? It means colored water in a bottle that looks like medicine but, when you take it, it does not work. And it is also very interesting on March 14, 1976 in Mayapur there is a morning walk that a devotee asked Srila Prabhupada what intelligence is, and Srila Prabhupada replied that the whole world is a society of deceivers and deceived, that is the version of my guru maharaja, so do not become a deceiver or allow yourself to be deceived, that is intelligence.
My conclusion from all this is that only the very strange, very envious people of Srila Prabhupada and very dangerous people can argue about the letter that Srila Prabhupada sent on July 9, 1977 to his whole movement naming 11 ritviks, and in Srila's testament Prabhupada said that all his properties should always be put in the name of his disciples. If someone argues about these two points, it is because he wants to go to hell.

Love and trust

Love and trust, by Haripada dasa
Usually people think that love means to give in love affairs as much as they receive from the other person, they are simply business deals, selfish or egocentric, and when this fails, violence enters, and they kill each other. Sincere love can be seen when parents love their children despite the rejection of their children. Then there are people satisfied in themselves, they do not require anybody's love, these people are absorbed in thoughts about the Supreme Personality of Godhead and, therefore, do not care if someone loves them or not, these people are oceans of mercy, and try to help human society so that people become pure devotees of God or Krishna, these people are full of love for God or Krishna, and as there is only God And His energies, naturally they love everyone and everything, to understand this point there are two examples, when one irrigates the root of a plant, naturally benefit the branches, stems, leaves and flowers and by feeding the stomach, all the senses are satisfied. The goal of human life is to awaken the latent love that we all have for God or Krishna, and for God or Krishna reciprocating, giving us bliss, spiritual knowledge and eternity. Unhappily there are ungrateful people, they are said to be insensitive, and they rebel against superior people, which means that they receive favors from their parents or from the spiritual master, and even then they disregard them. Srila Prabhupada said that relations between devotees should be based on LOVE AND TRUST, and in establishing these relationships wonderful things will be done to serve and please God or Krishna and His devotees. In spiritual relationships based on love and trust there is harmony and happiness, there is no selfishness or envy, and in material relationships there is only selfishness, envy and much suffering.
Confidence is lost when there is betrayal. Trust is only possible between pure devotees of God or Krishna, because only the devotees of God or Krishna have good qualities, materialistic and atheist people do not have good qualities, we see in practice that they do not fight with each other for nothing. The relationships between materialists and atheists are based on deceiving each other, everyone understands and accepts that materialists and atheists are scammers.
Thought to meditate:
"Nobody can hurt you, you can hurt yourself yourself".

The life of Srila Prabhupada

A brief history of the life of Srila Prabhupada

Srila Bhaktisidhanta Saraswati Thakur
Srila Bhaktisidhanta Saraswati Thakur
AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada was born on September 1st, 1896 in Calcutta,India. Later in life he accepted spiritual initiation from Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Goswami, founder of the 64 Gaudiya institutes.Srila Prabhupada was requested by his spiritual master to broadcast the ancient Vedic teachings through English language.
Following these orders, Srila Prabhupada started Back to Godhead, an English fortnightly magazine, in 1944 for which he acted as publisher, editor, copy editor, and local distributor.
In 1950 Srila Prabhupada moved to the holiest city of India, Vrindavana, to prepare for a renounced order of life. He resided in a small room at the temple of Radha-Damodara and engaged, for several years, in deep study and writing.
In 1959 he accepted his renounced order of life (sannyasa monk) and began work on his life's masterpiece: a commentated English translation of the eighteen thousand verse Srimad-Bhagavatam, one of the greatest epic scriptures of Vedic philosophy.
Srila Prabhupada's simple living quarters and studies in Vrindavana, and the Back to Godhead magazine:

On September 5th 1965, at the age of 69, Srila Prabhupada headed alone to America to fulfill the mission of his spiritual master. He was the only passenger aboard the freight ship Jaladuta. Journeying for 37 days across the Atlantic, he suffered two serious heart attacks.
Srila Prabhupada in NYSrila Prabhupada in Tompkins Square park NYThe Jaladuta (The steam ship that brought Prabhupada to the west)
Finally arriving in New York City, he possessed only a suitcase, umbrella, a supply of dry grains, about 7 dollars worth of Indian currency, and several boxes of books for distribution. He didn't know where to begin – New York was such an overwhelming city of material life.
Eventually working out a place to stay and still struggling to survive, he simply began singing the Hare Krishna mantra at Thompkin Square Park and preached to whomever would listen.
The time was right and things were radically changing in the US. The youth were looking for positive alternatives, something to give lasting peace after decades of war. Srila Prabhupada preached about the true meaning of life and people listened.
Nine months after his arrival he finally opened his first storefront center on 26 2nd Avenue. It was formerly a shop called Matchless Gifts, a prophetic name none the less. The doors were open to everyone. He would give lectures daily, have kirtan (singing mantras, songs of God) and cook prasadam (food offered to God). There in July of 1966 he established the International Society for Krishna Consciousness.
From here on, nothing could stop him.

He soon traveled to San Fransisco and opened a new temple. From there he sent disciples to major cities throughout the world to open more temples. The influence of his teaching grew exponentially, spreading rapidly throughout the world, gaining media attention and reaching even the likes of the Beatles. George Harrison became a life-long follower of Srila Prabhupada.
In just twelve years, despite his advanced age, Srila Prabhupada circled the globe fourteen times, giving lectures on the philosophy of Krishna consciousness and how to apply it in today's world.
With this demanding schedule, he simultaneously manifested a prolific output of Vedic literature that spans all aspects of spiritual life. Most of his writing and translation work was done between 1:30 and 4:30 AM. He slept three hours a day and only ate a handful of food. Later in the day he would speak to various audiences in public, and give guidance in private.
His books have become his greatest contribution to society, which are highly respected by scholars for their authority, depth and clarity. Srila Prabhupada wrote over 70 volumes of spiritual literature in only 11 years. This is unmatched in known history. They are used as textbooks in numerous college courses, have been translated to over 50 languages and are distributed to thousands of people every day throughout the world.

I share

Hare Krishna, with love and trust I share some very interesting stories that have happened to me in my devotional life, from 1984 to 1994 I spent 10 years distributing Srila Prabhupada's books in Spain, during this time I had a conversation with two Catholic priests, they were living in different places, but the two priests told me the same thing, that they sang their 16 rounds every day of the Hare Krishna Maha Mantra, that they liked Srila Prabhupada's books very much and that they followed the 4 regulative principles, 1, do not eat meat, fish or eggs, 2, no illicit sex, only sex is allowed to procreate and with one's wife, 3, no games of chance, and 4, do not drink tea, coffee, alcohol, drugs, etc., and that they did these practices in a very discreet way, the two priests also told me that the leaders of the catholic religion know that without a doubt that now the only true religion is the Hare Krishn Movement a, and that's why they attack us a lot, yes, that's a great truth, in a Catholic Church in Barcelona some people wanted to finish with the Hare Krishnas, the leader was a lady who had her son with the Hare Krishnas and there was a father who had a high position in the Spanish Army who had a son with the Hare Krishnas, they decided to kidnap their children to deprogram them, they spent a lot of money with this, and so they kidnapped the two devotees, and they took them away to a cabin in the Swiss Alps, there brought them very beautiful prostitutes, and very opulent food like seafood, etc., the son of the lady fell with everything, sex with the girls, ate everything, etc., and then it was of the movement, but the other devotee remained very calm, he was called Devarshi, Devarshi is the devotee who introduced me to Krishna consciousness, in the summer of 1984 he distributed me a Bhagavad gita and he preached to me, and in October of the same year I entered in The Movement and Devarshi when he had an opportunity escaped through the window of the bathroom, and hitchhiking appeared in the temple of Barcelona, then his father claiming that his son was crazy locked him in the madhouse of Guadalajara, the doctors spoke with him , and then they told their father that this boy is pure goodness, he is not capable of killing an ant, we do not understand why you brought him here, and then Devarshi left the madhouse, then he went to live in the temple of Mayapur, in India, and there lived more than 20 years, his father went to see him to apologize for all his offenses, in the summer of 2011 Devarshi wrote me a message and told me that this temple is full of demons, I I answered that he did the same as me, I left the movement because I saw that these people are not obeying Srila Prabhupada's order to initiate in his name, and not to be an accomplice of all the offenses that they are doing to Srila Pr abhupada practiced Krishna consciousness in an independent way, then in December 2011 a devotee wrote to me and told me that Devarshi had left the body in Mayapur and died of tuberculosis.

How are people generally

How are people generally, by Haripada dasa
I share this beautiful song of Bhaktivinoda Thakura, he is one of our spiritual masters in the disciplic succession, although he was a pure devotee of God or Krishna taken by his deep humility puts himself in the position of an ordinary person, and says that I have always I dedicate my life to commit sinful activities, you will not find in me a bit of pious activities, only a life of sinful activities, I am always willing to cause problems to other living entities ..., that is my occupation, I want to see others suffer , and, and when that happens, I enjoy. To get my own sense gratification, I do not mind committing any sinful activity, I have no mercy, and I only pursue the satisfaction of my own interests, so, when others suffer, I feel very happy ..., I'm used to telling lies , even in ordinary matters, and when someone suffers, that is very pleasant for me, I have unlimited desires in my heart, and I am always disgusted and conceited with false prestige, envy and false pride are my ornaments, the dream and the laziness conquer me, I always feel revulsion for pious activities, and I am very enthusiastic about doing impious activities, I always deceive others to gain prestige, greed subjugates me and I am always lustful, I am very fallen and I never relate to devotees of God or Krishna, I am constantly an offender, my mind is always attracted by morbid things, therefore, at the very end of my life, I am almost invalid because of all these tribulations, now in my old age, I have no other alternative ..., and, therefore, by force I have had to become very meek and humble, thus, Bhaktivinoda Thakura, offers the testimony of the activities of his life at the lotus feet of God or Krishna.
I remember that in the book entitled perfect questions and perfect answers, Srila Prabhupada says that preaching Krishna consciousness is very difficult, because a preacher always has to go with the truth ahead, and people have so much false ego that they feel insulted, and sometimes they kill the preacher as in the case of Jesus Christ, Jesus was told if you say that you are the son of God we are going to crucify you, and he said do what you want, but I can not change the philosophy. Today to be a true devotee of God you have to be very brave, because your supposed relatives, friends, and society are going to be against you, Srila Prabhupada always said that this material world is like an asylum, everyone is crazy , but the crazy ones think that the crazy ones are the doctors, and sometimes they convince them.
Thought to meditate:
"The only way to stop doing sinful activities is to always be engaged in devotional activities."

Offering of Sri Vyasa Puja to Srila Prabhupada 2018

Hare Krishna, with love and confidence I share my offering of Vyasa puja to Jagat-guru Srila Prabhupada, the guru of the Universe.
Offering of Sri Vyasa Puja to Srila Prabhupada 2018, by Haripada dasa
Sri Vyasa Puja is the happy occasion when the disciples celebrate the day of the appearance of their Spiritual Master. The Vyasa Puja denomination has its origin in Sri Vyasadeva, the compiler of all the ancient Vedic literatures, who is considered the universal spiritual master. All authoritative Scriptures agree that the concept about the Guru can not be explained intellectually, because it is a very deep feeling of the heart. It is understood that the Guru, the Spiritual Master, is the merciful representation of God or Krishna, who descends into this world to spread the message of the Supreme Lord. The Scriptures also explain that the Lord appears externally as the Spiritual Master because we can not perceive Him in our heart. He appears externally to guide us, to teach us to search internally and find the Lord in His fullest aspect.
In truth, the Spiritual Master is the most priceless and merciful incarnation of the Lord, because only by His grace can one approach the earth of divine love, where all his desires will be fully satisfied. The Spiritual Master is the representative of the Absolute Truth and the bestower of divine mercy. Reaffirming this eternal principle, our Divine Master ABHAY CARANARAVINDA SWAMI PRABHUPADA, is giving this mercy in the form of the MAHA-MANTRA HARE KRISHNA, and guiding all the souls towards their supreme destination, back to Goloka Vrindavana. His appearance in this world is the most valuable blessing for all humanity and an occasion to celebrate.

On envy, part 2

On envy, part 2, by Haripada dasa
Our envy against the Supreme Personality of Godhead and His devotees makes us envious of other living entities. When we stop being envious of the Supreme Personality of Godhead and His devotees, in human society there will be true peace, unity and brotherhood.
With love and trust I share some nectars of Srila Prabhupada's books in relation to envy, in Srimad Bhagavatam, 5, 18, 9, in word by word he says that khalah- the envious (practically all); and in the translation it says that good fortune reigns throughout the universe, and that all envious people are appeased. May all living entities find peace through the practice of bhakti-yoga, for devotional service will make them think always of the welfare of others. Let us all occupy ourselves in the service of God or Krishna, the supreme transcendental reality, and always remain absorbed in thinking of Him. And in the meaning of this verse it describes the pure devotee of God or Krishna as a desire tree, the devotee of God or Krishna can satisfy all the desires of everyone who takes shelter at his lotus feet. Prahlāda Mahārāja, as a good devotee of God or Krishna, does not pray for himself, but for all living entities, both those who are noble and envious and evil. He always thought of the good of evil people like his father, Hiraṇyakaśipu. Prahlāda Mahārāja did not ask anything for himself; on the contrary, he prayed to the Lord asking him to forgive his demonic father. That is the attitude of a devotee of God or Krishna, who always thinks of the good of the entire universe. And in the same meaning Srila Prabhupada says that if the movement for Krishna consciousness is spread throughout the world, and if, by the grace of Krishna, the whole world accepts it, the mentality of the envious will change. Everyone will think about the welfare of others. In the realm of material activities, everyone feels envious of others, but in a Krsna conscious environment, nobody feels envious of anyone; Everyone thinks of the good of others.
I share the meaning of Srila Prabhupada of Srimad Bhagavatam, 9, 11, 23, there he says that in the material world, everyone feels envious of others. Even in religious life we sometimes see that, if a devotee has advanced in spiritual activities, other devotees envy him. These envious devotees are not completely liberated from the bondage of birth and death, and no one can enter the spiritual world, that is, the eternal pastimes of the Lord, until he is completely free from the causes of birth and death. Envy comes under the influence of false identification with the body, but the liberated devotee has nothing to do with the body, so it is perfectly situated on the transcendental plane. The devotee never feels envy of anyone, even if it is his enemy. Knowing that the Lord is his supreme protector, the devotee thinks: "What harm can that supposed enemy do to me? The devotee, therefore, trusts that he will be protected. The Lord says that to the extent that you surrender to Me, I correspond to you. The devotee, therefore, must be completely free from envy, especially from envy towards other devotees. Feeling envious of other devotees is a great offense. A devotee who is constantly engaged in listening and singing is freed from the disease of envy, and thus becomes apt to go back home, back to Godhead.
I take this opportunity to wish you a Happy Janmastami 2018 and a Happy Vyasa Puja of Srila Prabhupada.

On envy, part 1

On envy, part 1, by Haripada dasa
God or Krishna says in Bhagavad gita, 7, 27 that Oh, scion of Bharata !, O conqueror of the enemy, all living entities are born in the bosom of illusion, confused by the dualities that arise from desire and the envy. And Srila Prabhupada says in the meaning that because of desire and hatred, the ignorant person wants to become one with the Supreme Lord, and envies Krishna as the Supreme Personality of Godhead. In the book of Bhaktivinoda Thakura entitled Jaiva Dharma it is said that we are an energy of God or Krishna called marginal, this means that we have two tendencies, the original, natural and eternal tendency is that we are with God or Krishna and His devotees in the spiritual world, and those souls never fall into the material world, and the other artificial and temporary tendency is that we want to enjoy matter and live without God or Krishna and His devotees, in that book it is explained that we have a vision of what is the spiritual world and the material world, most souls 90 percent go with God or Krishna and His devotees to the spiritual world and only 10 percent to see the spiritual world and see that God or Krishna has so many opulences, they He grasps envy and they want to live in the material world and they do not want to know anything about God or Krishna.
I share this very interesting information that comes in the book of Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, there Srila Prabhupada says that the serpent is considered the most cruel and envious living entity that exists, but those who are human beings and who envy others are considered to be even more vicious than snakes. The snake can be subjugated or controlled by herbs and enchanting mantras, but no one can control an envious person. In relation to the subject it is very interesting what Srila Prabhupada says in Chaitanya Charitamrita, Madhya Lila, Chapter 19, 159 there says that Jiva Himsana refers to killing animals or envying other living entities, if we kill defenseless animals, we should not There is doubt about that, the envy we feel for those animals. Now we are going to give the solution to eliminate this envy. I'm going to give a very simple example, I have a neighbor and I envy him a lot, the remedy is to make a change in my conscience, instead of envy I start to appreciate it, look at my neighbor always has the garden very fixed and I always have it dirty , my neighbor always has the car clean and I dirty, etc. So the cause of envy is that we envy God or Krishna, then the solution is to be 24 hours glorifying their unlimited names, forms, qualities and pastimes, in that way naturally the latent love we have for God will awaken. Srila Prabhupada always said that if you are full of hate and envy that means you are in the material world, and if you are free from envy, that means you are in the spiritual world.

The qualities and behavior

The qualities and behavior, by Haripada dasa
We all understand and accept that a person is known for his qualities and for his behavior, the entire spiritual culture of India was destroyed by the priests who invented that one can be a priest if he was born in a family of priests, that it is a great speculation because in the Sacred Scriptures it says the opposite of this, there it is said that a person is known by his qualities and by his behavior, if a person born in a family of a priest has the qualities of a dogs and their behavior is from a dog eater, he is a dog eater not a priest, and if a person is born into a dog-eater family and practices the rules and regulations of the Krishna consciousness process and becomes a pure devotee of God or Krishna, he has to be accepted as a pure devotee of God or Krishna, Srila Prabhupada was criticized a lot in India by the priestly class because he made many devotees of God or Krishna in the countries Europeans, in America and around the world, when Srila Prabhupada preached Krishna consciousness in India, 30,000 people and up to 50,000 people were listening to him, the Hindus were surprised and said this is our spiritual culture and we are imitating the way live from the West and we have rejected our spiritual culture, and now Srila Prabhupada is making devotees of God or Krishna all over the world, without discriminating against anyone.
Srila Prabhupada says in Srimad Bhagavatam, 4, 28, 48, that the authorized representative of God or Krishna, establishes the principles of religion, but when he leaves, disorder reigns again and bandits and non-devotees take advantage to introduce unauthorized principles, pretending to be svāmīs, yogīs, philanthropists, social workers, etc. This is like a prophecy of Srila Prabhupada, at the end of his life he was very sick and he said that you are poisoning me, Srila Prabhupada ordered his disciples to initiate in his name, then when he discarded his disciples led by his personal interests they invented that Srila Prabhupada left them as gurus, and they also made the great desecration of changing their books, Srila Prabhupada made a movement full of spiritual nectar, but then his disciples converted their movement based on horror and fear, so people like I and others, in order not to be complicit in all the offenses and injustices that they are doing to Srila Prabhupada, we had to get out of their movement.

Hare Krishna

Hare Krishna, glories to Srila Prabhupada, I am writing to ask you how you realized that Srila Prabhupada ordered his disciples to initiate in his name and that they did not obey that order and therefore they deviated, personally it helped me a lot to understand this point the book of the ritviks entitled the final order, what I liked about this book is that everything was supported with quotes from Srila Prabhupada, on the other hand, I tried to establish a personal relationship with Krishna Kantha the leader of the ritviks, and I wrote several times and he never answered me, I am very sad to see that on the one hand there are many people who understand and accept that Srila Prabhupada is the Jagat-guru the guru of all, and on the other hand I see that these people do not have sympathy for others who also have their own spiritual ideals, what do you think is the cause of this lack of sympathy and that we are very disunited, Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Prabhupada always said that in ali-yuga the combined efforts will give very good results, in other words, the union is strength, for me the answer of this is in the Bhagavatam, there it is said that the devotee kanistha or neophyte does not know how to relate to the devotees or to the people in general, the devotee kanistha or neophyte is not pure, still envies, we should all make an effort to establish personal and devotional relationships, and encourage each other to obey the instructions given in the books of Srila Prabhupada and lead a spiritual life pure, the result of doing this will be that Srila Prabhupada will be very happy with us, awaiting your reply, in the service of Srila Prabhupada, Haripada dasa.

Good people and bad people

Good people and bad people, by Haripada dasa
Almost all films are based on the struggle between good people and bad, those who are good people identify with good and bad identify with bad. Now I am going to describe the qualities of good and bad people, so they will not deceive you.
Good people always live happily in God or Krishna consciousness and are free (The Truth will set you free) and they are kind, tolerant, friendly to everyone, they always respect everyone and never want to be respected, they are true, they are pure heart, conquer hunger, thirst, lamentation, envy and old age, do not deceive themselves or others, are happy when they see others happy in God or Krishna consciousness and suffer when they see others suffer and have as their best friends God or Krishna and His representatives. At no time do they forget God or Krishna and His devotees, in all moments of life they feel the protection of God or Krishna and His devotees. They live free from fear because their future is very bright and they know that they will go back home to God or Krishna. God or Krishna seizes them to turn bad people into good people. They use their selfishness to go back home to God or Krishna. They do not envy anyone because they live full of peace and satisfaction. They know God or Krishna and they love Him and as there is only God or Krishna and His energies naturally love everyone and everything.
Bad people live always full of fears, doubts, envy, fanaticism, prejudice and are intolerant, dirty of heart, only seek to be respected and they do not respect anyone, they are very envious and do not believe in God or Krishna, themselves They think they are God or Krishna. They are very adept at exploiting and controlling others. His greatest suffering is to see good people happy and free in the consciousness of God or Krishna. If a person is associated with good people ends up being a good person and if you associate with bad people ends up being a bad person, tell me who you are with and I will tell you who you are, for bad people the devotional service to God or Krishna and His Devotees are very difficult, because their lives are selfish, irregular and lack spiritual goals.
Today eighty percent of people are bad, so there is no peace or prosperity, when eighty percent of the people are good, then there will be peace and prosperity.
Thoughts to meditate:
"You will not go to bed without knowing one more thing, life is a continuous learning and it can also be a continuous degradation."
Who is a pure devotee of God or Krishna? A pure devotee of God or Krishna is one who is beyond the influence of gold, of women and of the tigress of fame ... Such a person is unattached and pure ... Such person can defeat the ignorance of the whole world.

The men of Srila Prabhupada

The men of Srila Prabhupada, by Haripada dasa
Srila Prabhupada's men are people who have decided to use their lives to please Srila Prabhupada. Srila Prabhupada's men are naturally meek and humble, but when they see that there are people who offend Srila Prabhupada they are like lightning. In the same way that drug addicts can not go without their drugs, Srila Prabhupada's men can not live without reading Srila Prabhupada's books every day. Srila Prabhupada's men are always making plans for people to be happy in Krishna consciousness or God. The men of Srila Prabhupada are the most intelligent people because they are always chanting Hare Krishna. Srila Prabhupada's men love even their enemies. Srila Prabhupada's men never engage in the indulgence of their senses. Srila Prabhupada's men are the only people who have overcome the inferior taste by finding great satisfaction in the superior taste. Srila Prabhupada's men are assured of returning home their return to God. Srila Prabhuada's men use everything for the service of Sri Guru and Sri Gauranga. Srila Prabhupada's men are obedient to the instructions of Srila Prabhupada. Srila Prabhupada's men do not have time for maya. The men of Srila Prabhupada understand and accept that Srila Prabhupada is the Acharya through his books for the next 10,000 years. Srila Prabhupada's men establish relationships with other devotees based on spiritual love and trust. Srila Prabhupada's men are very careful to make offenses to any mobile or immobile living entity. Srila Prabhupada's men have found a taste in being the servants of others. Srila Prabhupada's men have decided that their love is for Srila Prabhupada. Srila Prabhupada's men understand and accept that many unauthorized persons have used Srila Prabhupada to make a living. The men of Srila Prabhupada understand and accept that Srila Prabhupada is our direct link to the guru-parampara. The men of Srila Prabhupada understand and accept that Srila Prabhupada is the Jagat-guru the guru of the universe and all the devotees who have accepted Srila Prabhupada as the way, the truth and the life offer their respectful obeisances. Srila Prabhupada's men establish a friendly relationship and see all the devotees who have accepted Srila Prabhupada as their Gurudeva as spiritual brothers. Srila Prabhupada's men obey Srila Prabhupada's order to initiate in his name, they do not speculate.

Very strange, envious and very dangerous

Very strange, envious and very dangerous, by Haripada dasa
I share that I joined the International Association for Krishna consciousness, (in short Iskcon), in 1984, my service was to distribute the books of the Founder Srila Prabhupada, I traveled through Spain, 16 Latin countries and the USA, the donations I received were going to the food program for the life of Vrindavana, in india, God or Krishna distributed through me more than a quarter of a million of Srila Prabhupada's books, when I saw that the Iskcon authorities led by their personal interests did not obey the Srila Prabhupada's order to initiate in the name of Srila Prabhupada and that they changed the books of Srila Prabhupada, so as not to be an accomplice in all the injustices and offenses that they were doing to Srila Prabhupada I left Iskcon, by the mercy of Srila Prabhupada and From Krishna in 2008 a disciple of Srila Prabhupada initiated me in the name of Srila Prabhudada, there I began to feel very much the presence of Srila Prabhupada in my life. spiritual, and that helped me a lot to counteract or purify the great contamination by having been initiated by two false gurus before, today I have come to the conclusion that the false gurus of Iskcon and his followers are very strange people, and Most strange of these people is that they admit that Srila Prabhupada did not leave anyone as his successor, but no one asks the question, so they do more than a hundred gurus there, as Krishna says in Bhagavad-gita, ignorance has robbed them of their intelligence, by the mercy of Srila Prabhupada and Krishna one of the false gurus who died appeared to me in dreams and told me that he was suffering a lot in hell, they could have obeyed Srila Prabhupada's order to initiate on his behalf, and Srila Prabhupada would be the center of Iskcon and all the rest of his loving servants, the result of offending Srila Prabhupada is that one becomes a Mayavadi or atheist, the only occupation of the ma Yavadis is that no one serves or loves God or Krishna, and they do that because of the great envy they have for God or Krishna, likewise the false gurus and their followers their only occupation is that nobody serves and loves Srila Prabhupada, they have so much false ego that they want everyone to serve them and love them, and they do this because they are very envious of Srila Prabhupada and the followers are worse because they think that when my guru dies I will be the next guru, the false gurus receive service from others their false egos are increased, so these people are very dangerous, any contact with these people your spiritual life is ruined, Srila Prabhupada prophesied to those people in the mantra 12 of Sri Upanisad.
On May 28, 1977 were disciples of Srila Prabhupada talking with him about how the initiations would be done when Srila Prabhupada entered his Samadhi-lila or discarnated, Srila Prabhupada told them that he would name some of his disciples to be his representatives, Tamal Krishna asked him if that was Ritvik and Srila Prabhupada said yes, then on July 9, 1977 Srila Prabhupada sent a special letter to all his temples, in this letter he appointed some of his disciples to be his representatives and initiate in his name , for Srila Prabhupada everything was very clear, but some disciples of Srila Prabhupada who wanted to control others, invented that Srila Prabhupada named them as gurus, there all Iskcon disconnected from Srila Prabhupada, because the relationship with Srila Prabhupada comes through obeying his instructions, my conclusion is that Srila Prabhupada ordered the Ritvik philosophy and here they who are against this philosophy are against Srila Prabhupada and have hell assured.

The maximum charity work

The maximum charity work
I share this beautiful verse of Bhagavad-gita, 5, 25, there it says that those who are beyond the dualities that arise from doubts, whose minds are engaged within, who are always busy working for the welfare of all living beings and who are free from all sins achieve liberation in the Supreme. And in the meaning Srila Prabhupada says that only a person who is fully in Kṛṣṇa consciousness can be said to be engaged in welfare work for all living entities. When a person is actually in the knowledge that Kṛṣṇa is the fountainhead of everything, then when he acts in that spirit he acts for everyone. The sufferings of humanity are due to forgetfulness of Kṛṣṇa as the supreme enjoyer, the supreme proprietor and the supreme friend. Therefore, to act to revive this consciousness within the entire human society is the highest welfare work. One cannot be engaged in such first-class welfare work without being liberated in the Supreme. A Kṛṣṇa conscious person has no doubt about the supremacy of Kṛṣṇa. He has no doubt because he is completely freed from all sins. This is the state of divine love. A person engaged only in ministering to the physical welfare of human society cannot factually help anyone. Temporary relief of the external body and the mind is not satisfactory. The real cause of one’s difficulties in the hard struggle for life may be found in one’s forgetfulness of his relationship with the Supreme Lord. When a man is fully conscious of his relationship with Kṛṣṇa, he is actually a liberated soul, although he may be in the material tabernacle.
In the meaning of Bhagavad-gita, 11, 55, Srila Prabhupada informs us how difficult it is to preach Krishna consciousness, there he says that a devotee of Kṛṣṇa is friendly to everyone. Therefore it is said here that he has no enemy (nirvairaḥ). How is this? A devotee situated in Kṛṣṇa consciousness knows that only devotional service to Kṛṣṇa can relieve a person from all the problems of life. He has personal experience of this, and therefore he wants to introduce this system, Kṛṣṇa consciousness, into human society. There are many examples in history of devotees of the Lord who risked their lives for the spreading of God consciousness. The favorite example is Lord Jesus Christ. He was crucified by the nondevotees, but he sacrificed his life for spreading God consciousness. Of course, it would be superficial to understand that he was killed. Similarly, in India also there are many examples, such as Ṭhākura Haridāsa and Prahlāda Mahārāja. Why such risk? Because they wanted to spread Kṛṣṇa consciousness, and it is difficult. A Kṛṣṇa conscious person knows that if a man is suffering it is due to his forgetfulness of his eternal relationship with Kṛṣṇa. Therefore, the highest benefit one can render to human society is relieving one’s neighbor from all material problems. In such a way, a pure devotee is engaged in the service of the Lord. Now, we can imagine how merciful Kṛṣṇa is to those engaged in His service, risking everything for Him. Therefore it is certain that such persons must reach the supreme planet after leaving the body.
