There is no happiness

Hare Krishna, my intention and attitude in sending you this message, is that Srila Prabhupada wanted us to transmit his teachings to everyone, without wanting anything in return.
There is no happiness, by Haripada dasa
Usually people think that happiness is in a life full of sense gratification and material comforts, and that I live by the bun and dead to the pit, people who are attached to ignorance do not understand more than this, here I share the Bhagavatam, 5, 24, 8, there Srila Prabhupada says that according to the teachings of Prahlāda Mahārāja, material enjoyment is māyā-sukha, an illusory enjoyment. The Vaiṣṇava or devotee of God or Krishna goes through great anxieties to liberate all living entities from this false enjoyment. Prahlāda Mahārāja says: māyā-sukhāya bharam udvahato vimūḍhān: Those fools (vimūḍhas) give themselves over to material happiness, which is undoubtedly temporary. Whether they belong to the heavenly planets or inhabit the lower or terrestrial planets, people are absorbed in material happiness, which is temporary, and they forget that when the time comes, they will have to change their bodies according to the laws of matter, and they will have to suffer again and again birth, death, old age and diseases. The most attached materialists, without worrying about what will happen to them in their next life, are simply occupied in enjoying the brief period of their current life. The Vaiṣṇava is always willing to give these confused materialists true happiness, spiritual bliss.
And in the same chapter verse 14, Srila Prabhupada says that this is the defect of material existence. In the subterranean heavens everything is very pleasant; the housing conditions are optimal, the atmosphere is pleasant, and there are no physical discomforts or mental anxieties; even so, the inhabitants of those places will have to be reborn, according to their karma. Obtuse-minded people can not understand this defect of materialistic civilization that aspires to material comforts. You can achieve very pleasant living conditions for the senses, but, favorable as those conditions are, when the time comes you have to face death. Members of demonic civilizations strive to achieve a high level of comfort in life; but they can not stop death. The influence of the Sudarśana cakra will not allow its supposed material happiness to last for a long time.

Selfishness

Selfishness, by Haripada dasa
Hare Krishna, my intention and attitude in sending you this message, is that Srila Prabhupada wanted us to transmit his teachings to everyone, without wanting anything in return.
I share with you that a few days ago an old lady told me that she had two apartments, money, etc., but she came to the conclusion that the most difficult thing in life is to free oneself from selfishness, I told her that the difference between a devotee of God or Krishna and ordinary people is that the devotee of God or Krishna is always thinking of doing good to others without wanting anything in return and ordinary people always think in terms of me and mine, and never think about doing the well to others, when the ordinary person becomes a devotee of God or Krishna then selfishness disappears, I share that in Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, Chapter Twenty-two, verse 39, where Sanat-kumāra says:
"My dear King, the false ego of the human being is so strong that it keeps him in material existence as if he were bound by a very strong rope, only the devotees can cut the knot of that rope very easily, by engaging in the process of Kṛṣṇa consciousness Others, who are not in Kṛṣṇa consciousness consciousness but try to become great mystics or great practitioners of ritual ceremonies, can not advance like devotees. the activities of the Kṛṣṇa consciousness process, to get rid of the tight knot of the false ego and the execution of material activities. "
The only activity in this material world that purifies you and does not entangle you is to serve God or Krishna and His devotees, Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura always said that the rebellious soul is hostile to serve God or Krishna and His devotees, we are by nature servants , Srila Prabhupada always said that if you do not serve God, you will have to serve your dog. Srila Prabhupada always said that people can not understand or accept the simplest truths of life because they are full of sinful activities, it is said in the Spiritual Scriptures of India that people are so sinful in this age that they will not see again the human form of life in millions and millions of births. People do not understand how valuable this human form of life is, the purpose of life is to understand and love God or Krishna, and as there is only God or Krishna and His energies will naturally love you all and all.

24 hours a day

Hare Krishna, my intention and attitude in sending you this message, is that Srila Prabhupada wanted us to transmit his teachings to everyone, without wanting anything in return.
24 hours a day, by Haripada dasa
Here I share the purpose for which Srila Prabhupada founded Krishna consciousness. This comes in Srimad Bhagavatam, 5, 12, 13: "This movement for Kṛṣṇa consciousness has been founded to occupy people in the service and glorification of the Lord twenty-four hours a day. In this institution, students devote themselves to the cultivation of Kṛṣṇa consciousness from five in the morning until ten at night. Thus they have no opportunity to waste time unnecessarily speaking about politics, sociology and current affairs. All this follows its own course. A devotee is only interested in serving Kṛṣṇa in a serious and positive way. "
I share that I have not watched television for a long time, I have come to the conclusion that on television there is only ignorance and passion, and it only attracts people who are ignorant and passion, ignorance because everything is a corporal concept, and passion because everything is sex and violence, there is nothing of kindness, if there was kindness no one would watch television, very few people in the world live in the mode of goodness, in Bhagavad Gita, 14, 6 says that the modality of goodness, being purer than the others, it is enlightening, and it liberates one from all sinful reactions. Those who are influenced by this modality are conditioned by a feeling of happiness and knowledge, then in the same chapter verse 21 it is said: Arjuna asked: Oh, dear Lord, what are the signs by which we know to one who is transcendental to these three modalities? How it behaves? And in what way does he transcend the modes of nature? And in verses 22-26 Krishna replies: The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: O son of Pāṇḍu, he who does not hate enlightenment, attachment or the illusion when they are present, nor the longing when they disappear; that it remains firm and imperturbable through all these reactions of material qualities, and that it remains neutral and transcendental, knowing that only modalities are active; which is situated in the being and which considers that happiness and affliction are equal; that looks with the same vision a bit of earth, a stone and a piece of gold; that has the same disposition towards the desirable and the undesirable; which is constant, being equally well in praise and in censure, in honor and in dishonor; that treats equal to the friend and the enemy; and that he has renounced all material activities: a person who is like that, is said to have transcended the modes of nature, one who devotes himself entirely to devotional service, firm in all circumstances, immediately transcends the modalities of material nature and thus reaches the plane of Brahman.

"When I began to apply the clearly described principles of the book of Krishna in my life, I quickly experienced a new realm of mental balance and experienced inner happiness even in the midst of the most difficult circumstances. The result of practicing Krishna consciousness is that you will worry less and enjoy more. Your power of concentration, memory, understanding and creativity will increase. We are all devotees

We are all devotees, by Haripada dasa
Hare Krishna, my intention and attitude in sending you this message, is that Srila Prabhupada wanted us to transmit his teachings to everyone, without wanting anything in return.
Srila Prabhupada said in 1972 in Kartika in Vrindavana that we should always be ready to offer respect to everyone, because every living entity is originally a devotee of God or Krishna, but circumstantially the soul, being covered by ignorance, is acting as a demon, in this world there are divine and demonic people, the divine ones obey the laws of God or Krishna and the demonic ones do not, but the original nature of all is to be a devotee of God or Krishna. The first thing to do in the devotional life is to purify the designations, the designations means the things that we are not but that we think we are, for example the people in general think that I am the body, and therefore I am Spanish, American , Hindu, etc., I am the master of everything, my house and my family belong to me, I am the enjoyer, the controller of everything, this woman is my wife, here is my son, here my brother, etc., everything these are designations, the result of living with designations is that the person lives full of fears, envy, ignorance and very conditioned, a soul free of designations believes and experiences that I am not the body, but an eternal spiritual soul, loving servant of God or Krishna and His devotees, my relatives are also children of God or Krishna, my house and everything I own is of God or Krishna and I use everything for the service of God or Krishna, the result of having that consciousness of God or Krishna, is that the person lives happy and free.
In devotional life there are three classes of devotees of God or Krishna, the neophyte, the one in the middle stage and the perfect devotee. First you have to understand what faith is, faith means having complete conviction that by chanting the Hare Krishna Maha-Mantra, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare / Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare (the H read as J de jota) will automatically fulfill all the duties and complete all pious activities. The neophyte devotee exhibits a faith that is formal, even mundane, worships the Deity but has not developed an interest in serving the representative of God or Krishna, the authorized spiritual master, the devotee in the middle stage develops loving affection for God or Krishna , makes friends with other devotees, has compassion for innocent people, an innocent person is one who believes in God or Krishna, but is not advanced in spiritual life, and evades the company of atheists, and the perfect devotee is one who sees God or Krishna everywhere, and God or Krishna is his life and soul, his life revolves around the Hare Krishna Maha-Mantra, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare / Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare (the H is read as J de jota), for him, the Holy Name of God or Krishna is the essence of everything.
Thought to meditate:
"People who think that ignorance is true, being a wise person, are fools."

Despise others

Despise others, by Haripada dasa
I have come to the conclusion that people have a tendency to belittle others, that they do so to feel superior and also out of envy, to illustrate this point Srila Prabhupada told this story: "Once two childhood friends met, one told the other that I am a lawyer and I just did a trial and to my surprise the judge was our childhood friend, Juan Perez, and the other said how weird this is because he always seemed half dumb, and the other said he is judge but maybe they will not pay him. "
Among the devotees of God or Krishna that does not happen, because there is love and trust, I share what Srila Prabhupada said in the Kartika of the year 1972 in the Sri Radha Damodhara, there he explains the mentality of a devotee: "Narada Muni says that the devotee always appreciates the qualities of other devotees, yes, that is the sign, appreciation of the activities of devotees, a devotee who is currently freed from all contaminations does not find any fault in other devotees, he does not think of himself as if was a great devotee, or more great than others, he thinks of himself as the lowest of all, as the author of El Chaitanya Charitamrita, Krishna dasa Kaviraj says that I am as low as the insect that lives in the excrement, I I am more sinful than Jagai and Madhai, anyone who takes my name, immediately all the results of their pious activities vanish, it is not imitation, any devotee who is currently advanced, he feels it, as well as the great scientist Sir Isaac Newton used to say that I have simply picked up a few grains of sand from the ocean of knowledge, in truth that is a fact, everything is unlimited, so no one should be proud that he has become a great devotee, all should be very humble, trinad api sunicena, taror api sahisnuna, manamane amanena, kirtaniya sada hari, if one thinks that one has become a very advanced devotee, that is very dangerous, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu said that my spiritual master saw me as a great fool, therefore he has punished me, do not read the Vedanta Sutra, sing Hare Krishna, He presented himself that way, it is Chaitanya Mahaprabhu murka, fool, that concept has an advanced devotee, never thinks it is a very advanced devotee, what is to be advanced, the devotion that we can offer Krishna, He is unlimited, He kindly accepts our service, that is all, do not be proud to become a great devotee, that will be a first class fall. "
