SRILA BHAKTIVINODA THAKURA KI JAYA 10

Share with the group extracts the monumental work written by Bhaktivinoda Thakura Entitled , THE Bhagavatam , YOUR PHILOSOPHY , ETHICS AND THE THEOLOGY 10.
All theologians agree that God is one like no other, but agree about the name to be given to that God , because of the different modes of worship which they adopt according to their specific mindset . Some give the name of Brahman , others give the name of Paramatma and some others give the name of Bhagavan. Those who worship God in awe and consider infinitely large , call it Brahman . This mode is called jnana or knowledge. Those who worship God as the Universal Soul - according to the principle of spiritual union with Him - , give the name of Paramatma . This is yoga. And those who worship God as the maximum that exists, with all my he...art , body and strength , refer to Him as Bhagavan. This last principle is bhakti. The book prescribes the relationship and worship of Bhagavan himself seeks name Bagavatay the worshiper is also called by the same name.
So is the Bagavata , which is decidedly the book for all kinds of theists. If we worship God spiritually as maximum , with all our heart , mind and strength , we are Bagavatas and we own a life of spiritualism that either , nor the worshiper of Brahman or the yogi unites his soul with the universal soul Paramatma - , can be obtained. The superiority of the worship of Bhagavan is the unification of all types of theistic worship within an excellent principle of human nature called bhakti. This word has no equivalent in English. Piety , devotion , resignation and spiritual love without mixing with any request , except by way of repentance , made the highest principle of bhakti. The Bagavata worship God asks us to this great and invaluable principle that is infinitely superior to human knowledge and the principles of yoga.
The Sanskrit word yoga has many meanings , its primary meaning is : unite, join , union. The union which the yogi has the universal soul Paramatma - , is different to the union that the devotee experiences with God. Binding of the yogi , is a union of their spiritual identity with the Universal Soul , which perceived internally as a single and supreme person . Free from all material conceptions he meditates on divine thus perceived inside. The union has consecrated soul with God is an eternal relationship with Him spiritual love , keeping each its individual quality and personality. " Could arise a question : How can the human mind have a distinct existence of the Universal Soul after the coarse of the human constitution ceases to exist ? .
