We all understand and accept that the truth will set us free, it will always be better to pray to Srila Prabhupada and Krishna for others than to criticize, to avoid criticism we must obey the instruction of Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Prabhupada that says that others do what they want, to I don't care, I already have enough work singing Hare Krishna to purify my damned mind, and Bhaktivinoda Thakura said that if you see a defect in others, it is not that the person has that defect, but that the defect you have and you reflect it in the other person, the only way to eliminate evil on a personal and collective level, is through goodness, he who does not live to serve, does not serve to live and peace and good. Nectar means obeying all the instructions that Srila Prabhupada and all the guru parampara have given us, in relation to the association of the devotees, Baktivinoda Thakura in the Bhakti Sudhodaya tells us that the devotees must relate to the most advanced, affective and have devotees the same temperament, and Visvanatha Chakravarti instructs us and tells us that if in the association of the devotees we see people with a very harsh character, that we respect them in the mind but that we do not associate with them, and I have done very well break the relationship with anyone that I feel wants to control me. I am very clear that my best friends in the spiritual life are those who transmit to Srila Prabhupada.
The Bhakti plant feeds on nectar, not rare stories, gossip, etc. We have very defined spiritual ideals, try to follow all the instructions given in Srila Prabhupada's books, and help each other do the same, by doing this we live with Srila Prabhupada and acquire their qualities. Our love and service is for Srila Prabhupada, and we have full faith that Srila Prabhupada is the authorized person who will take us back home, back to Krishna. The amara jivana song of Bhaktivinoda Thakura has helped me a lot, in this song he with all his humility puts himself in the role of an ordinary person so that we know the mentality of people in general, there he says three times that I only make him suffer the others and when that happens I feel great happiness, once a friend of mine separated from his wife, and his wife's strategy was for her ex-husband to suffer was to make him believe that it was his fault, and so my friend was 1 years suffering, until thanks to his friends he understood what was happening and freed himself from the sufferings, he took a weight off.
The worst thing that can happen to a person in the spiritual life is to think that I know everything, in relation to this Srila Prabhupada told a story, there was a violin teacher, there were two people there, the teacher asked them you can play something the violin, one replied that I do not know anything, and the other said that I already know how to play the violin, the teacher told them that so that he who does not know I will charge him 20 euros a month, and so that he who already knows 40 euros a month, and the one who said he knew protested by saying why he does this to me, charging me double, and the teacher told him that with you first I have to show you all the things that you think you know, but that you don't really know, and teach you everything again, so it's double work.
