LOVE YOUR ENEMIES

Love your enemies, or Haripada Javier Figuerola dasa
Martin Luther King always said that just say what you think, you already created many enemies. What is an enemy ?, he is a person who insults us, despise, envy and humiliates us. It says in verse 9 of chapter 6 of the Bhagavad Gita that a person is more advanced as regards all - the well-wisher honest, friends and enemies, the envious, the pious, the sinner and those who are indifferent and impartial - with a fair mind. Jesus always told to pray to God for friends is easy, but we must pray to God for our enemies. A Jesus Christ made him many offenses and crucified him, but he prayed to God for their offenders. Was merciful and tolerant, it is said that a great personality is measured by their degree of tolerance, of course, tolerance and mercy are two qualities that are linked, a person is tolerant when it is very merciful, materialists are not tolerant nor merciful, daily send millions and millions of innocent animals for slaughter, and are not tolerant, I saw him as someone whistled the car ahead that had turned the green light and the other got out all upset and They ended up sticking punches.
I will tell you three true stories that illustrate love your enemies. My spiritual teacher named Srila Prabhupada bought land in Bombay, India, to a temple of Krishna, a hotel, a theater and a vegetarian restaurant. Nair bought it a very powerful figure, Supreme Court President and Director of a newspaper. Nair before it sold the land to the Company C., trapping the ground and took away money, C. Nair sued Company but Nair won the lawsuit. Srila Prabhupada knew and yet ventured. Nair and his lawyer wanted to do the same with Srila Prabhupada, Srila Prabhupada sued to court, but Nair died of a heart attack. Your lady continued litigation and made a big mistake, bribed officials to vandalize the City Council who were building temple and to cast all the devotees of Krishna who lived on the ground. He left the backfire, devotees of Krishna called all her friends and told them all Hindus, all the most important people in Bombay condemned this act and Mrs. Nair was devastated. After Mrs. Nair every repentant went to Srila Prabhupada and weeping at his feet pulled to forgive, merciful Srila Prabhupada said that you are to me as my daughter, never in life you will lack nothing, I I'll take care of you. Now the temple is one of the most important temples of spiritual India.
The other story comes in the Bhagavatam, there was a great yogi named Durvasa Muni once Durvasa Muni no reason offended a great pure devotee of God or Krishna called Ambarisa Maharaja, God or Krishna never tolerate insults to His devotees and sent their personal weapon called the Sudarsana Chakra, when Durvasa Muni saw the Sudarsana Chakra that would punish fled by all the planets, even went to the spiritual world and the lotus feet of God or Narayana went and apologized for offending Her devotee Narayana or God told him to apologize to His devotee to Him, Durvasa Muni went and apologized to Ambarisa Maharaja and saw Ambarisa Maharaja was praying to God for the good yogi, and Durvasa Muni said it now I understand the glories of the pure devotees of God, I have offended you in return and you have prayed to God for my good fortune.
The third story is quite amazing, a great preacher of Krishna consciousness encountered two drunk and asked them to sing Hare Krishna, one of the drunks grabbed a rock and broke his head, the preacher with a head full of blood said no problem you can kill me if you want, but I just ask you to sing the Holy Names of God, you have broken my head with the stone but in return I'll give love of God, drunkards to see the attitude of the preacher were terrified and thrown at his feet asking for forgiveness, then these two drunk pure devotees of God and became great preachers. God works wonders.
