Simple living and high thinking, Javier Figuerola (Haripada Dasa)
By the mercy of Srila Prabhupada understand and agree to live a simple life and high thinking are happy in this material world and we are preparing to go back home back to Godhead.
Simple Living means we need some clothes, some prasada (prasada is the mercy of God, God offered food), and a place to rest. High thinking means thinking about the representative of God or Krishna Srila Prabhupada, in all acharyas or spiritual teachers of the guru-parampara, the Panca Tattva and Sri Radha Krishna also means thinking about doing good to others, sending positive messages for people to reflect and try to raise their states of consciousness, also means giving prasada to others, in the agenda of Food for Life Vrindavan in India and other parts of the world, there have been millions and millions of dishes prasada . That is pure spiritual life. Material life is the opposite, means living to meet the body and mind, and is based on selfishness me and mine and not give any food to the soul, never think of God or do good to others, rather always think like deceiving others and the law of the funnel width narrow for me and for others.
Now everyone we are celebrating the advent of śaktyāveśa Avatara Jesus Christ, would do well to remember the essence of his teachings: "Love God above all things and your neighbor as yourself, do not do to others what you would not like they do unto you, and do unto others as you would have them do to you if you have two blankets and see that another has no give a blanket and share what you have with others, and will be freed from the envy and selfishness, also spoke that there is a Kingdom of God and that the goal of life is to return to the Kingdom of God. "Concerning Christians, Srila Prabhupada said that if Christians worship the Deities and obey the commandment of Jesus Christ thou shalt not kill, God or Krishna devotees would be made.
Chant the Maha-mantra: Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare / Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare and be happy.
Srila Prabhupada Serve with love, faith, gratitude and attachment and your life will be successful and sublime.
