To occupy everything in the service of Krishna

To occupy everything in the service of Krishna, by Haripada dasa
In Srimad Bhagavatam 7.9.1 in meaning Srila Prabhupada says: The Supreme Personality of Godhead and his devotee know how to properly use lust, anger, greed, illusion, pride and envy. In the Bhagavad Gita 3.37 Srila Prabhupada says: "Thus, the origin of lust is also found in the Supreme. If, therefore, lust transforms into love for the Supreme, or transforms into Krishna consciousness or, in other words, into desiring everything for Krishna, then both lust and anger can be spiritualized. Hanuman, the great servant of Lord Rama, exhibited his anger in the act of setting fire to the golden city of Ravana, but in doing so he became the most outstanding devotee of the Lord. Here also, in the Bhagavad-gita, the Lord induces Arjuna to use his anger against his enemies, for the satisfaction of the Lord. So lust and anger, when used in the process of Krishna consciousness, become our friends, and not our enemies. "
Greed is prime sister to lust, but there is a difference, the lustful person likes to enjoy living things, people, animals, etc., the greedy person likes to enjoy dead things, money, properties, etc. How does the devotee use the illusion? the devotees who distribute Srila Prabhupada's books are very adept at using the illusion in Krishna's service, telling people, oh you look like a very good person! Once I gave a science of self-realization to a man and I said: Oh, you have the face of a very good person, you look a lot like Pope John Paul II! The man immediately took out his wallet and gave me 100 dollars. Srila Prabhupada said: "You only have to glorify them." Once I gave a book to a girl and said, "You look like a saint." Immediately the girl collaborated with me and said: "You know why I help you, because you told me you have the face of a saint". Then comes pride, it is said: "Pride is the prelude to falling or pride precedes the fall." We have to be afraid of this kind of pride. But there is a healthy pride; We can be proud to belong to the Vaishnava family with so many wonderful acaryas, with all the 26 qualities of the Vaisnava visible in them in such an exceptional way. In chapter 29 of the Nectar of Devotion it says: "Pride. Expressions of ecstatic love with pride can be the result of excessive wealth, exquisite beauty, a first class residence, or the attainment of our ideal goal. We are also considered proud when we do not care about the disdain of others.
Bilvamangala Thakura said the following:
"My dear Krishna, you are leaving me, forcing me out of my clutches, but I will only be impressed by Your strength when you can get out of the bottom of my heart."
That is an example of the pride that is felt in the midst of ecstatic love for Krsna.
Once, during the rasa dance, when Radharani left the arena and Krishna went to look for her, one of Radharani's beloved friends addressed Krishna in the following way:
"My dear Krishna, You have been very accommodating in serving the form of our Sri Radharani, and now you have left all the other gopis to seek Her, Please allow me to ask you how you want Her to treat you."
That is an example of pride that is felt because of an exquisite beauty.
Sometimes, Radharani felt proud in Her inner self and said:
"Although the cowherd boys prepare a beautiful garland of flowers for Krishna, when I present My garland to Him, He is filled with awe and immediately accepts it and takes it to the heart."
Similarly, in the Tenth Canto, Chapter Two, verse 33, of Srimad-Bhagavatam, Lord Brahma says the following:
"My dear Madhusudana, the people who are pure devotees of Your Lordship in fact feel your ecstatic friendship, by virtue of which they are never defeated by the enemies, they know that they are always protected by You, and for that reason they can pass quietly on the heads of their enemies without any worry. "
In other words, one who has completely taken shelter under the lotus feet of the Lord always has the pride of being able to conquer all enemies.
A weaver from Mathura addressed Krishna with these words:
"My dear King of Vrindavana, I feel so proud of Your mercy without cause to me, that I do not even count on the mercy of the Lord of Vaikuntha, to which many great sages, absorbed in deep meditation, aspire."
In other words, although the yogis and the great sages sit down to meditate on Lord Visnu, who resides in Vaikuntha, a devotee of Krishna feels so proud that he does not consider that meditation to be very valuable. That feeling of pride is due to the fact that the highest goal of life has been reached: Krishna. "
And how is envy used? In the Nectar of Devotion, chapter 30, it says: "Envy. In The Padyavali it is indicated that once one of Radharani's friends addressed Her in the following manner:
"My dear friend, please do not be too proud because Krishna has decorated your forehead with His own hand, it is possible that Krishna is still attracted to some other beautiful young woman, I see that the decoration on your forehead is very well made , so it seems that Krishna was not very upset when he painted it, otherwise he would not have been able to draw such exact lines. "
That is an example of envy caused by Radha's good fortune.
In the Tenth Canto, Chapter Thirty, verse 30, of Srimad-Bhagavatam, we find the following passage:
"When the gopis were looking for Krishna and Radha after the rasa dance, they began to speak like this among themselves: 'We have seen the footprints of Krishna and Radha on the floor of Vrindavana, and those traces are causing us great pain, because, although Krishna is everything to us, that girl is so cunning, that she has taken Him alone and is enjoying His kisses without sharing it with us. '"
That is another example of the envy of Srimati Radharani's good fortune.
Sometimes, when the cowherd boys played in the forests of Vrndavana, Krishna played in one group and Balarama played in another. Between the two sides there was competition and feigned struggle, and when the side of Krishna was defeated by Balarama, the children said:
"If Balarama's side remains victorious, then, there is no one who is weaker than we are in the whole world.
That is another example of envy in the midst of ecstatic love. "
Conclusion: Yukta Vairagya, everything can be occupied in the service of Krishna, less sinful activities.

15 degrees below zero

15 degrees below zero, by Haripada dasa
I share more stories of Sankirtana, in 1986 we did the Christmas Marathon in Navarra, Spain, we were 15 devotees and we rented a very big apartment for the whole month of December, that winter was very hard, we were on the street distributing the first song From the Srimad Bhagavatam, a luxury book with more than 1,000 pages, it was snowing and it was 15 degrees below zero, we rented a large van and put a butane stove inside, and when we could not stand the cold we went to the van to warm up , I would tell people, please, a question, and people would reply that there is no time for questions, it was difficult to give the books, God or Krishna distributed through me every day from 20 to 25 Bhagavatams, I I think people bought us books out of compassion, I remember we gave a Bhagavatam to a local policeman and this man phoned the Nueva Vrajamandala farm and told them that here in Pamplona there are some young Hare K rishnas distributing the first chant of Srimad Bhagavatam, I have read it and I have come to the conclusion that these young people are heroes, because they are sacrificing their lives to give us the purest and sublime message that can be given to human society.
This story that I will tell now is incredible, we were distributing the first song of The Srimad Bhagavatam, a luxury book with more than 1,000 pages in a car park in the center of Valencia, Spain, there were going to park politicians, businessmen, professionals, etc., I gave a very successful entrepreneur a Bhagavatam, in a few minutes we made a great friendship, and at the time of giving me the donation he took out his wallet and told me I do not know what to give you as a donation, and I with all the tranquility from the world I grabbed the wallet and looked in the wallet for the largest bill, I grabbed a bill of 10,000 pesetas or 100 dollars, seeing this the employer caught a fit of laughter, he began to laugh and kept saying this I did not I can believe, this I can not believe, I got his laugh and I also started laughing, when we laughed enough the businessman gave me his card and told me that if you want work there you have your house, I told him thank you but what and I work for the Supreme Chief, God or Krishna, He is Pure Goodness and the Supreme Controller, the man was very pious and told me that that is very good.

Angry Melechas

Angry Melechas, by Haripada dasa
It is said that the Acharya or spiritual master authorized by God or Krishna is softer than a rose and harder than a ray, softer than a rose means that when he is satisfied with the service of his disciples he gives unlimited mercy and much nectar, but when he is displeased with his disciples he scolds them in a very harsh and harsh way. I share that I remember a class of Srila Prabhupada who said that I have given them the sacred cord that is worth a few paisas, but because of their behavior they look like irate melechas, the melechas are the lowest people in the culture of India. Once one of his disciples wrote a letter to Srila Prabhupada and told him that I have found a better guru than you, so give me your blessings to be with him, and Srila Prabhupada replied that there are my blessings, that you go to the hell and you never remember Krishna, it is said that even the most intelligent people can not understand the mentality of the Acharya or spiritual master authorized by God or Krishna, in the book of Krishna in the chapter entitled the prayers of the personified Vedas, it is said that God or Krishna and the Acharya or spiritual master authorized by God or Krishna live on the absolute plane, absolute plane means pure goodness, and the neophyte devotees should never criticize the Acharya or spiritual master authorized by God or Krishna, a devotee told me that it was present there that once Puri Maharaja scolded very harshly the devotee who wrote the biography of Srila Prabhupada, the biography of Srila Prabhupada is 6 books of 400 pages each, the Maharaja told him that he had seen Srila Prabhupada from his point of view and not from the point of view of the Holy Scriptures, that is why he committed many offenses against Srila Prabhupada, and the greatest offense he committed is that he said that Srila Prabhupada authorized his disciples to be gurus, the Maharaja told him that you know very well that Srila Prabhupada did not leave anyone as a guru but ordered them to be his representatives or ritviks, however you put it there that Srila Prabhupada authorized his disciples to be gurus, for that offense your destiny is very dark.
Srila Prabhupada said that the most important verse of the spiritual life is the one that says in the Upanisads that one who has full faith in the words of God or Krishna and full faith in the words of the Acharya or spiritual master authorized by God or Krishna, all Vedic knowledge is revealed to him.

680 books

680 books, by Haripada dasa
I share another story of Sankirtana, it was the Christmas Marathon 1990, we did it in Andalucia, the South of Spain, we were 15 devotees and we rented a very big house for the whole month of December, in a day God or Krishna distributed through me 680 books, 340 Upadesamritas, the Nectar of Instruction and 340 Raja Vidyas, the King of Education, was in a town in Seville, I arrived at the town at dawn, parked the car in front of the City Hall and started distributing books, I went with two bags of books, in one I carried the Upadesamrita and in the other the Raja Vidya, and people distributed them the two books, I had a very funny story, I saw that an older man was watching me all morning as I distributed the books, and by the mercy of Krishna, this man also distributed books, when a person told me he did not want the books, this old man approached and said to the man, like you tell the Missionary that you do not want the books, but if everyone in the town has them, and began to say names of the people of the town who had bought the books, of course it was a town of about 10,000 inhabitants and there everyone is known, and this older man distributed that Like 20 books, the truth is that the people of that town were very good people, from 9 in the morning until 1 PM, I had given 400 books, then I went to the car and I respected a giant sandwich of whole wheat bread with cheese and salad, I remember that our cook and his assistant had many mystical powers, every day they cooked breakfast and made 15 giant sandwiches of wholemeal bread, washed all the clothes of the devotees, and every day they went to the bank to enter the collection and washed each day the whole house, after respecting the sandwich I took a nap, and then in two hours more I distributed 280 books, until the local police encouraged me and told me you have to give all the books, you have to empty the car of books, that day c I chose 82,000 pesetas or 820 dollars, after doing this one does not believe it, one only understands and accepts that this is the mercy of Srila Prabhupada and of God or Krishna, and that one is only an instrument of them.
The worldwide record of the distribution of Srila Prabhupada's books is held by a French devotee who in one day distributed 1,000 books of the great classics of India, they were the book of Krishna that had almost 1,000 pages and the first song of Srimad Bhagavatam that had more than 1,000 pages.

A success 2

A success, by Haripada dasa

At the end of the preface to the Bhagavad Gita Srila Prabhupada says that if a single man  becomes a pure devotee of the Lord, we will consider our attempt as a success, and Srila Prabhupada achieved success, Jayananda prabhu practiced Krishna consciousness in a way strict, serious and sincere he became a pure devotee of Krishna, and when he left his body in 1977 Srila Prabhupada said that he went to Vaikuntha, to the spiritual world.

Srila Prabhupada says in his books that there are devotees everywhere but they have forgotten, our mission is to educate pious people to know Srila Prabhupada and to love him, Srila Prabhupada says in his books that in this movement of consciousness Krishna, there are people who wear kuntis and japa but they are very envious, those people have to be ignored, Srila Prabhupada said that everything is in his books, and he also criticized his disciples many times saying that they do not study their books enough, if a person is an expert in Srila Prabhupada's books, when he hears someone preach Krishna consciousness he will immediately detect if that person is transmitting Srila Prabhupada to others.

We understand and accept that God or Krishna is the supreme mystic and I can do everything, in the Chaitanya Charitamrita, Antya lila, 3, 50 it is said that the scriptures say that the next ten thousand years will be of predominance of the movement for Krishna consciousness, but that, after that period, they will all become mlecchas and yavanas.

The activities

The activities, by Haripada dasa
We understand and accept that people who are absorbed in material life, begin to worship God or Krishna due to the fear of death. The lotus feet of God or Krishna are the perfect refuge, free from anxiety, They are the only means to cross over the boundless ocean of ignorance. In chapter four of the Bhagavad-Gita entitled transcendental knowledge, what is karma, vikarma and akarma is explained. Karma means any material action that has to attract a subsequent reaction, in other words, if a person harms a living entity, that same pain will have to suffer in his own person, vikarma means unauthorized and sinful activity, which is executes against the commands of the Revealed Scriptures and akarma means activity by which no reaction is suffered because it is performed in God consciousness or Krishna, that activity is called devotional service, and purifies the spiritual soul of all material contamination.
Today in the whole world there are great demonstrations and protests, it would be a good idea if the people were demonstrating and shouting to say that we are tired of living in ignorance, since ignorance is the cause of all suffering and conditioning, we want knowledge transcendental, because this knowledge is the cause of happiness and freedom. Srila Prabhupada always said that what people like the most is suffering and that they are deceived, they are fanatics of suffering and deception. When human society is directed by very demonic people, an atmosphere of ignorance and passion is created, and people do not have much enthusiasm to live in kindness, to live in goodness one has to develop these qualities: "Live happily in conscience of God or Krishna and be free, (The Truth will make you free) and be kind, tolerant, friendly with everyone, always respect everyone and never want to be respected, be truthful, pure of heart, conquer hunger, thirst, lamentation, envy and old age, do not deceive themselves or others, are happy when they see others happy in God or Krishna consciousness and suffer when they see others suffer and have as their best friends to God or Krishna and His representatives. At no time do they forget God or Krishna and His devotees, in all moments of life they feel the protection of God or Krishna and His devotees. They live free from fear because their future is very bright and they know that they will go back home to God or Krishna. God or Krishna seizes them to make strange people good people. They use their selfishness to go back home to God or Krishna. They do not envy anyone because they live full of peace and satisfaction. They know God or Krishna and they love Him and as there is only God or Krishna and His energies naturally love everyone and everything.

He saved my life

He saved my life, for Haripada dasa
This story of Sankirtana devotees translated it from Spanish into English and put it in the magazine back to the Supreme for everyone to read, I was distributing Srila Prabhupada's books in a town in Murcia, Spain, in the plaza del town I saw a car parked with the window open and the driver inside, I approached and gave the man the science of self-realization, when seeing the picture of Srila Prabhupada on the cover the man was very impressed, I told him that we are making a cultural program with these books and the result of reading these spiritual books is that you get a lot of inner peace and freedom from anxiety, I saw that in the seat next to the driver was a knife of large dimensions, and that there was a bottle of alcohol and drugs, I wrote him down on a paper The Hare Krishna Maha-Mantra, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare / Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare (the H is read as J de jota), and I told him if you sing this mantra, all the negative things that you have will disappear, the man gave me 2,000 pesetas or 20 dollars of donation and he left. I continued with my distribution of books and spent half an hour and the man in the car came and told me I want to talk to you, parked the car and I got in the car and the man revealed his mind and told me that you saved my life and I come to thank you, it turns out that I left my best friend 10 million pesetas or 100,000 dollars to do a business, the business went very well and made a lot of money, and when I told him to give me back what I I left him he gave me half and he told me that the other half would give it to him, when you saw me I was going to kill him, but seeing the photo of your spiritual master and chanting the Hare Krishna mantra that you gave me, my mentality has changed totally, now I do not care if you are going to pay me the other half, thank God I have a lot of money, and what I want is to live happily with my family and not get into trouble, I told him that in the book was the address of the Hare Krishna Rural Community and that there has its house, the man To very excited and crying he hugged me and told me that I will never forget you, thanks for everything.
