Share the final instructions of Srila Prabhupada Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakura.
On December 23, Srila Prabhupada gave his final instructions to the assembled devotees, "I have caused anxiety to many people. Perhaps many people have seen your enemy because I was obliged to tell the plain truth. I asked them to serve the Lord with all sincerity. I've put in a lot of anxiety because I wanted to inspire people only to serve Krishna sincerely without material desires or duplicity. Someday you will understand this.
"All of you please preach about Sri Rupa and Sri Raghunath with great enthusiasm. The ultimate goal of our desires is to become a particle of dust at the lotus feet of the followers of Sri Rupa Goswami. Be united in the shelter of asraya-vigraha to satisfy the transcendental senses of the Supreme Entity nondual knowledge. Live in this temporary world with the sole aim to serve the Lord. Please do not leave their devotional service despite hundreds of dangers, insults, or persecution. Do not get disheartened to see that most people in this world do not hear the transcendental topics of devotional service. Do not give sravana-kirtan, which becomes his own bhajan and his only property. Always chant the name of the Lord, and be more humble than a blade of grass, more tolerant than a tree.
"Just cherish a desire in our heart: sacrifice this body, which is just a piece of matter in the fire of sankirtan yajna of Lord Sri Krishna Chaitanya and His associates. We do not want to be heroes by the force of our action, courage and piety.
