About the war
I share that in the Bhagavatam, 4, 26, 5, Srila Prabhupada says that the karmic reaction of killing innocent animals is that every certain year there is a world war, I share that in the Bhagavatam, 9, 24, 59 Srila Prabhupada says Very interesting things about the war, in the translation it says that the devils can take control of the positions of the government and dress like members of the government, but they do not know the duty of the government. Therefore, when God arranges it, those demons, who possess a great military force, face each other, and, as a result, the great burden they represent for the surface of the Earth diminishes. By the will of the Supreme, the demons increase their military might in order to diminish in number, so that the devotees have opportunity to progress in the cultivation of Kṛṣṇa consciousness. And in the meaning, Srila Prabhupada says that as stated in the Bhagavad-gītā (4.8): paritrāṇāya sādhūnāṁ vināśāya ca duṣkṛtām. The sādhus, the devotees of the Lord, are always eager to promote the cause of Kṛṣṇa consciousness, so that the conditioned souls can be liberated from the bondage of birth and death. But the asuras, the demons, prevent the propagation of the movement for Kṛṣṇa consciousness. Kṛishṇa, therefore, provides that, from time to time, the asuras, who are very eager to increase their military might, confront each other. That unjustified increase in military might is not the duty of kings and governments; The true duty of government is to ensure that its people progress in the cultivation of Kṛṣṇa consciousness. In this connection, Kṛṣṇa says in the Bhagavad-gītā (4.13): cātur-varṇyaṁ mayā sṛṣṭaṁ guṇa-karma-vibhāgaśaḥ: "According to the three modes of material nature and the activities associated with them, I create the four divisions of human society ». There must be an ideal class of men who are genuine brāhmaṇas or priests, and should receive full protection. Namo brahmaṇya-devāya go-brāhmaṇa-hitāya ca. Kṛṣṇa is very fond of the brāhmaṇas and the cows. The brāhmaṇas promulgate the cause of advancement in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, and the cows give the milk necessary to maintain the body under the influence of the mode of goodness. The kṣatriyas or administrators and the government should be advised by the brāhmaṇas. The vaiśyas or merchants, on the other hand, must produce the necessary food, and the śūdras or workers, who by themselves do not know how to do anything useful, must serve the three higher classes (brāhmaṇas, kṣatriyas and vaiśyas). This is what the Supreme Personality of Godhead has arranged for the conditioned souls to be liberated from material conditioning and go back home, back to Godhead. That is the purpose of the advent of Kṛṣṇa to the surface of the Earth (paritrāṇāya sādhūnāṁ vināśāya ca duṣkṛtām).
Everyone should understand the activities of Kṛṣṇa (janma karma ca me divyam). One who understands the purpose of the advent of Kṛṣṇa to the Earth and the activities that he performs is immediately liberated, and it is precisely that liberation that is the purpose of creation and the advent of Kṛṣṇa to the surface of the Earth. The demons have a great desire to promote a plan for people to work without stopping, like cats, dogs and pigs, but the devotees of Kṛṣṇa want to teach the Kṛṣṇa consciousness process, so that people feel satisfied with a simple life of progress in the cultivation of Kṛṣṇa consciousness. The demons have developed many plans to promote industry and hard work, so that people have to work night and day, like animals; but that is not the goal of civilization. Such efforts are jagato 'hitaḥ: they will bring misery to the people. Kṣayāya: they are activities that lead to destruction. Whoever understands the purpose of Kṛṣṇa, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, should be serious in understanding the importance of the movement for Kṛṣṇa consciousness and should participate in it sincerely. One should not strive in ugra-karma activities, unnecessary work aimed at obtaining pleasure from the senses. Nūnaṁ pramattaḥ kurute vikarma yad indriya-prītaya āpṛṇoti (Bhāg 5.5.4).
With no other goal than sense gratification, people make plans to obtain material happiness. Māyā-sukhāya bharam udvahato vimūḍhān (Bhāg. 7.9.43). If they act like that, it is because they are vimūḍhas, scoundrels. For an ephemeral happiness, people waste their human energy, and, instead of understanding the importance of the movement for Kṛṣṇa consciousness, accuse the simple devotees of brainwashing. Demons may make false accusations against those who preach the Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement, but Kṛṣṇa will cause them to engage in a war in which both sides use all their military might and destroy each other.
It is also very interesting to take a walk in the morning, January 28, 1977, in Bhubaneshwar. Srila Prabhupada said that after the war the way to Krishna consciousness will be paved. "And while they are alive, they are going to protest against Krishna consciousness: 'This is a brainwashing'Krishna will take care of the war between them .. Then they will be finished, and it will be easy for us to make progress.
