devi suresvari bhagavati gange
Tribhuvana-Tarini tarala tarange
sankara-mauli-viharini vimale
matir breast Astam tava pada-Kamale

sukha-Dayini kill bhagirathi
tava jala-mahima nigame khyatah
jane Naham tava mahimanam
pahi krpamayi mam ajnanam
(3)
hari-pada-padya-Tarangini gange
hima-vidhu-mukta-Dhavala-tarange
durikuru breast duskrti-Bharam
kṛpayā kuru-param bhava-sagara

tava jalam amalam yena nipitam
parama-padam khalu tena grhitam
gange kill tvayi I bhaktah
tam' drastum na kila yamah saktah

Jahnavi patitoddharini gange
khandita-giri-rod-Mandita-Bhange
bhisma janani I muni-rod-kanye
patita-Nivarini Tribhuvana-dhanye

kalpa-latam VAT phaladam loke
yas pranamati na tvam patati soke
paravara-viharini gange
vimukha-vanita-krta-taralapange

tava cen matah srotah-snatah
punar api na jaṭhare so'pi jātaḥ
naraka-Nivarini Jahnavi gange
kalusa-vinasini mahimottunge

punar asad-ange punya-tarange

indra-mukuta-mani-slit-charane
sukhade subhade bhṛtya-saranye

rogam sokam tapam papam

Kuru mayi karuna katara-vandye

madhura-manohara-pajhatikabhih
paramananda-kalita-lalitabhih

Spanish -Translation (English) of Visuddha-sattva DAS
1) Oh, goddess Ganga! You are the divine river of heaven. You're the one who saves us from the three worlds. You are pure and restless. You adorn the head of Lord Shiva. Oh, Mother! my mind always rest in your lotus feet.
2) Mother Bhagirathi! You give happiness to everyone. The meaning of your sacred waters is praised in the Vedas. I am ignorant and I can not understand its importance. Oh, Devi !, you are full of mercy. Please protect me.
3) O Devi! Your waters are as sacred as charanamrita of Sri Hari. Your waves are white as snow, the moon and pearls. Please wash all my sins and help me cross the ocean of samsara.
4) Oh, Mother !, those who partake of your pure waters, certainly reach the highest state. Oh, Mother Ganga !, Yama, the Lord of death can not harm your devotees.
5) Oh, Jahnavi! Your water flowing through the Himalayas make them even more beautiful. You are the mother of Bhishma and daughter of the sage Jahnu. You are the savior who falls your way, so you are revered in the three worlds.
6) Oh, Mother! Your fulfill all the desires of your devotees. Those who bow to you do not have to suffer. Oh, Ganga! You're concerned about merge with the ocean, like a young man eager to meet his beloved.
7) Oh, Mother! Those who bathe in your water does not have to be born again. Oh, Jahnavi! You are in the highest esteem. You destroy the sins of your devotees and saved from hell.
8) Oh, Jahnavi! You are full of compassion. You purify your devotees with your holy waters. Your feet are adorned with the crown jewels of Indra. Those who seek refuge in you get the blessing of happiness.
9) O Bhagavatî! Take away my diseases, sorrows, difficulties, sins and bad attitudes. You are the essence of the three worlds are like a necklace around the Earth. O Devi! You alone are my refuge in the Samsara.
10) Oh, Ganga! Those who seek happiness adore. You are the source of happiness for Alkapuri and the source of eternal bliss. Those who reside in their siberas are so privileged as those living in Vaikuntha.
11) O Devi! It is better to live in your waters, such as turtles or fish, or your banks as a poor chandala, who live far away from you as a rich king.
12) O Goddess of the Universe! Purify! Oh, daughter of Jahnu muni! Whoever recites this Ganga Stotram everyday, certainly achieves success.
13) People who have devotion to Mother Ganga, always get happiness and attain liberation. This beautiful and lyrical Gangastuti is a source of supreme happiness.
14) This prayer, Sri Ganga Stotram written by Sri Adi Shankaracharya, devotee of Lord Siva, purifies us and fulfills all our wishes
