The laws of God, Haripada dasa
Religion means the laws given by God, God is revealed in human society so there are various religious concepts described as a Hindu, Christian, Jewish , Moslem , Buddhist , etc. The essence of all religions is the same, since you get up until you go to bed adores and glorifies God your Lord . Religious activities should never be performed for material gain or for sense gratification . The goal of religion is to awaken our dormant love of God. Religion means to understand the laws of God, and that the proper implementation of these laws leads one finally out of the material entanglement , that is the true purpose of religion.
The problem is hypocrisy , when people get a stamp and say I am a Christian , Muslim , Buddhist , Hare Krishna , etc and do not obey the commands of their own religion , and when they think that my religion is better than yours . For example Jesus instructed not kill, but Christians have the best slaughterhouses are now yahadistas , they kill everyone who does not become the Mohammedan religion, Buddha came to establish nonviolence and Buddhists eat meat, Srila Prabhupada always said that if you want to eat meat let the animal die and then eat it , but do not kill him , the most stupid and full of ignorance philosophy is that people think we can do whatever we want and will not happen nothing . Srila Prabhupada established the Hare Krishna movement and instructed that every day sing 16 rounds of Hare Krishna maha -mantra , do Ekadasis and the 4 regulative principles were followed, no meat eating, no illicit sex, no gambling and not get high, but almost no one follows these instructions and passed by Hare Krishnas .
We are in Kali- yuga the age of hypocrisy and quarrel , 75 percent is irreligion and only have 25 percent of religion , so to become a God conscious person must be very brave and fight power and get much mercy of God and His devotees .
