The differences between India and the West, for Javier Figuerola or Haripada dasa
The differences between India and the West are many, first here in the West's philosophy of life is pure hedonism, I live bun and killed the hole, eat, drink and do not believe that there is life after death, think we are the body and the purpose of life is to please the senses and have material comforts, their God is money, whether it is achieved legally or illegally, why is there so much corruption, the result of this philosophy is the pure rage, for nothing people put into anger, and to vent that anger go to the football field and then downloading anger insulting the referee and the referee say things you do not dare to tell his wife. In India from small they are educated to understand that we are not the body but spirit soul eternal and we are in this world because we have rebelled against God and have misused our free will, and that the goal of life is to obey laws of God and live in harmony with nature and to know and love God or Krishna, when you manage to have love for God, love for all other beings automatically follows because the Lord is the sum total of all beings living, and go back home back to Godhead. The result of living a simple life and high thinking is that the person is filled with unlimited happiness and total freedom.
Another big difference between India and the West is that here we have no information about the son of God, Jesus Christ, but; What do we know about the father and the holy spirit? The philosophical basis of Christians is that there are three divine aspects, the father, the son and the holy spirit. We have information about the child, but what do we know about the father and the holy spirit? It is no coincidence that Jesus himself told his disciples: "I have much more knowledge, but you are not prepared to receive it, I'm teaching moral things:" Do not do to others what you would have them do unto you, and do unto others what you would have them do unto you ";? and even that you can obey it, how can I tell you about most momentous things studying the Scriptures Spiritual India I realized the great amount of information out there about God or Krishna and His different energies, its unlimited names, forms, qualities and pastimes, etc. in such deeds are ten billion verses. Does anyone have the experience of studying something that has ten billion word, and that something does not exist, or he's dead? sometimes Western religious scriptures and ancient religious scriptures of India are compared, like having a pocket dictionary and a great encyclopedia. If you search for a word in a dictionary pocket, you might say, the middle line or a line of meaning of that word; but if you search the same word in a large encyclopedia, will surely give you the meaning of the same word three or four leaves.
