With love and trust I share these two verses from Vedic literature that teach us the attitude of the people and the holy blessing of friendship:
As the rivers that do not take their own waters but they give for others to benefit, such as trees, do not eat their own fruit, but the fruit is for others and as the clouds do not take their own showers but given as rain to others, so the saints live simply for others.Chanakya Pandita says:Purely looking at a pure devotee is more purifying than there is a sacred place of pilgrimage, to remain in a holy place be purified after a long time. The sight of a pure devotee immediately purified.Blessing of FriendshipI hope you're good friends.You learn to be a good friend to yourself.You can get to that place where your soul resides a great love,warmth, affection and forgiveness.That this change you.Transfigure everything negative, distant or cold in you.Transport you to passion, family and affinity of communion with Srila Prabhupada and Krishna or God.You cherish your friends.Be good to them and you're there when you need it.Screw you all blessings, encouragement, truth and light you needfor the trip back home back to Godhead.You're never alone.May you always be in the gentle nest of communion with Srila Prabhupada and Krishna or God.
