The pure and perfect disciple

With love and confidence I share this beautiful verse that describes the qualities of the genuine disciple, Chaitanya Charitamrita, Madhya lila, 24, 330:

The qualities of the bona fide disciple are explained in Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam (11.10.6):

amānya-matsaro dakṣo nirmamo dṛḍha-sauhṛdaḥ

asatvaro ’rtha-jijñāsur anasūyur amogha-vāk

The disciple must have the following qualities. You must give up all interest in the material bodily concept of life. He must give up material lust, anger, greed, illusion, madness, and envy. He must have no other interest than to understand the science of God, the extremes of which he must be willing to consider point by point. You must stop thinking, "I am this body," or "This belongs to me." He must love the spiritual master with unshakable faith, and he must be very stable and fixed. The genuine disciple must be inquisitive in understanding transcendental subjects. You must not try to discover defects in the midst of good qualities, and you must lose all interest in material matters. His only concern should be Kṛṣṇa, the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

We have no doubt that the pure and perfect disciple of Srila Prabhupada was Jayananda prabhu, this great devotee is the example of the perfect disciple of Srila Prabhupada, this great devotee will be a great inspiration for future generations of devotees of Srila Prabhupada and of Krishna, as I understand it, the essence of this great soul is that everything he did was to make Srila Prabhupada happy, and he never did anything to displease Srila Prabhupada, he was not a politician, I like this, is my friend, I dislike him, he is my enemy, he was humble, tolerant and everyone's friend, and he never criticized anyone, Srila Prabhupada said that I am very proud to have had such a good disciple as Jayananda prabhu, everyone must Following his example, this great devotee enjoyed serving Srila Prabhupada and Krishna and everyone, and that is the perfection of Krishna consciousness, that can only be done when one has awakened his great love for Srila Prabhupada and by Krishna.
