And in the same chapter verse 14, Srila Prabhupada says that this is the defect of material existence. In the subterranean heavens everything is very pleasant; the living conditions are optimal, the atmosphere is pleasant, and there are no physical discomforts or mental anxieties; even so, the inhabitants of those places will have to be reborn, according to their karma. Dull-minded people cannot understand this defect of the materialistic civilization that aspires to material comforts. You can achieve very pleasant living conditions for the senses, but, however favorable those conditions are, when the time comes you have to face death. Members of demonic civilizations strive for a high level of comfort in life; but they cannot stop death. What is the cause of this philosophy? Ignorance and envy, how is it possible that citizens obtain any benefit from people full of ignorance and envy? If the political heads or executives of the State are only interested in themselves, they will never be able to ensure the welfare of the citizens. In Srimad Bhagavatam, 2, 3, 19 he defines these politicians as donkeys, the materialistic and atheistic politician engages in many, many illusory occupations to elevate the position of others, as the leader of political emancipation and economic development. Srila Prabhupada is an ocean of mercy, thanks to him we have met God or Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, The Bhagavad gita, The Bhagavatam, The Sri Chaitanya Charitamrita, The Nectar of Devotion, etc, the prasada or the food offered to Krishna, the chanting of the Hare Krishna Maha-mantra, the Ekadasis, the Purusottama month, the Chaturmasya, Kartika Vrata, Jhulana yatra, the appearances and disappearances of the Supreme Lord and His devotees, etc., by His mercy we now follow the 4 Regulatory principles very strictly, 1, do not eat meat, fish or eggs, 2, no illicit sex, only sex is allowed to procreate and with one's wife, 3, no gambling, and 4, do not drink tea, coffee , alcohol, drugs, etc., and we chant the 16 offenseless rounds of the Maha Mantra Hare Krishna and the three daily Gayatris, pious and intelligent people accept this mercy, atheistic, evil, ignorant and deceitful people reject this mercy, let us all pray to Srila P rabhupada on this auspicious day may we never lack his mercy and may we never forget him.

It is said in The Chaitanya Charitamrita that God or Krishna is compared to sunlight, and maya or ignorance is compared to darkness, wherever there is sunlight there can be no darkness. As soon as one embarks on the path of Krishna consciousness, the darkness of illusion, the influence of external energy, will immediately vanish. Also in The Bhagavad Gita Krishna says that this energy of Mine, maya, is very difficult to overcome, but those who surrender to Me can easily overcome it, in other words, maya is controlled by Krishna, and when a soul obeys the laws of God or Krishna, Krishna tells His energy not to influence His devotee, thus the devotee enjoys full and total freedom.

In the process of surrendering to God or Krishna one must: (1) accept everything that is favorable for the performance of devotional service, (2) reject everything that is unfavorable for it, (3) firmly believe in the protection of the Lord , (4) feel that you depend exclusively on the Lord's mercy, (5) have no interest apart from the Lord's interest, and (6) always be meek and humble.

In relation to the subject Srila Prabhupada says in his meaning of the Hare Krishna Maha-Mantra that this atmosphere, in which we now live, is called maya, or illusion. Maya means "what is not". And what is this illusion? The illusion is that we try to be the lords of material nature, when the reality is that we are bound by the shackles of its strict laws. When a servant tries to artificially imitate his almighty master, this is called illusion. Contaminated by this concept of life, we all try to exploit the resources of material nature, but the reality is that we become more and more entangled in its complexities. Therefore, despite our arduous struggle to conquer nature, we depend more on it. This illusory struggle against material nature can be stopped immediately if we revive our Krishna consciousness. Srila Prabhupada always said that the problem with people is that they are not afraid of maya.

Where are you from? From the spirit world. And what are you doing here in the material world? I tried to enjoy the subject, but I have been frustrated and now I want to go back to the spiritual world. How do you know you are from the spirit world? The Holy Scriptures around the world say it, all the holy people say it, and all the genuine spiritual teachers say it. What are holy scriptures? They are the laws given by God or Krishna. Although we have turned our back on him, he is so kind that he gives us the Holy Scriptures; By practicing them we can live here peacefully and prepare ourselves to return to the spiritual world. What are holy people? They are those people who strictly follow the Holy Scriptures, have experienced that this material world is a place of suffering and temporal, and instead of living for their selfishness, "I and mine," now they live only to please God or Krishna and Since God or Krishna is the complete totality, they please everyone.

Srila Prabhupada sent from Vrindavana, India, on July 9, 1977 a special letter to all his temples, there he named 11 ancient disciples and ordered them to start in my name from now on, then when Srila Prabhupada entered his lila samadhi or disincarnated they changed Srila Prabhupada's instruction and said that now they are the gurus.
This created a schism, schism means that in a group of people there are two opinions, so that no one doubts that Srila Prabhupada's wish was that his disciples start on his behalf, it is that in Srila Prabhupada's Will it is said that all the properties of iskcon must always be in the name of his disciples.
Many people have left Iskcon not to be complicit in all the offenses they are doing to Srila Prabhupada, the result of offending the guru is that the person becomes atheistic and a first-class speculator.
We would all like the Srila Prabhupada movement to be led by people who want to obey Srila Prabhupada and who have a lot of love for Srila Prabhupada.

With love and trust I share that before chanting the rounds of the Maha-Mantra Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare / Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare, I pray to the Jagat-Guru or Guru of the Universe Srila Prabhupada, God or Krishna and my Deity of Lord Nrisimhadeva bless me so that I may chant Hare Krishna without offense, bless me so that I do not offend any moving and immobile living entity and forgive my offenses by trying to serve them with love and devotion.
And when I finish my rounds I thank the Jagat-Guru or the Guru of the Universe, Srila Prabhupada, God or Krishna and my Deity of Lord Nrisimhadeva for having let me sing the 16 rounds, in my house that is a temple of Krishna, I have posted almost 200 laminated photos of Srila Prabhupada, Deities, and places of pilgrimage throughout the house. Srila Prabhupada always said that the paintings that devotees make are windows to the spiritual world, and the photos of pure devotees, Deities, and sacred places are on the absolute plane.
By Krishna's mercy I have been practicing Krishna consciousness since 1984, and I have come to the conclusion that the most important thing is to obey Srila Prabhupada's instructions, because the result of this is that one will live with Srila Prabhupada and acquire his qualities.
